I love Hummer's and have recently shopped here several times. Great people, selection, and service. Very reasonable prices too! My wife says their potato salad beats Giant's. Be sure to stop by Hummer's the next time you're at the BSM. You'll be glad you did!

The staff is awesome and always willing to help. They never have a problem with special cuts of meats. Their meats are the best in Harrisburg and well worth the money. I always try to get my meats with them.

I really can't say enough about the staff @ Broad St. Market. If you haven't had any of their products I hope you do soon. Excellent hams, sausage and their burger are the norm for me. They make my already enjoyable market trips even better.

I liked the market. Plenty of vendors selling a variety of produce and products... got lunch there as well. Ordered the bibimbap from Yami, would eat there again. My friend had a Greek salad from Phyllo which was nice. I might try the pizza next time though as it looked good and I've a weakness for pizza. Lively atmosphere, received good service from the vendors I interacted with... an enjoyable outing.

Full service butcher/deli. Beef pork lamb and chicken. Some of the best bacon. A huge selection of cheeses. Premade sides are available by the pound. Try the baked beans loaded with bacon mmmm. The staff are polite and very accommodating. They have meat specials you can preorder and pickup in a variety of prices. Special order meats available. The only drawback is that being in the Broad St market they're only open Thursday Friday and Saturday.

I feel so fortunate to have a real butcher so near. Ryan and the gang run a great business. Friendly service, great selection (if you don't see it, ask!), and decent prices. A jewel in the Broad Street Market crown.

Hummer's is located inside the Broad Street Market Brick building. This stand has become my go-to spot for buying meat when I shop at the market. The stand has meats of all kinds (beef, pork, chicken, etc.), salads (macaroni, potato, etc.), and a bunch of other stuff that you would expect from a butcher. Everything is locally raised/made and reasonably priced. The folks here are so friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I can tell them what kind of meat I want and what I plan to do with it, and they always help me select the perfect cut.
