When the neighborhood spot the Midtown Tavern changed ownership and became Mad Moose we in the neighborhood had some concerns. No need. The Moose rocks. A truly great neighbor. Great staff, quite good food and well made drinks. Music on Friday’s is quality stuff. Highly recommended.

On Monday, I visited Midtown Tavern, a place I used to frequent in my youth, only to have one of the worst experiences of my life. While sitting and listening to Tupac Shakur on my phone, I was confronted by the bartender and told to leave. When I asked if I was violating any policy, I was given no answer — instead I was threatened with the police.
