My experience at McAlister's Deli was absolutely appalling. The service was rude and utterly terrible. I attempted to place an order at the drive-thru, but despite repeated attempts, no one answered. Confused, I pulled up to the window, only to be met with screaming and yelling from an employee who said “THIS IS NOT A DRIVE THRU! It’s for online orders only!.” He slammed the window shut, leaving me shocked and bewildered. I've never encountered such disrespect before. As a longtime resident of Harrisburg, I was hoping to support my local community and new businesses, but not if they're run by individuals with such horrid and stank attitudes. Bring back the old Applebee's – at least they knew how to treat their customers with respect.

The sandwiches were delicious. And the potatoes were decent. Nice size portions. However, we had to throw out our Caesar salad. It was all brown and wilted and slimy looking. I believe this was from being packaged next to hot items not actually being bad itself. But still not appealing or appetizing to eat. That is the reason for the 4* review at this time. Will definitely return. Great experience otherwise and friendly staff.

It’s March 31st 2024- the app allowed me to place an order at 2:20pm. Order went through and it gave me a pick up time- but at this time the restaurant was closed. I get there and the door states they closed at 2:00pm today. Very frustrated that I was not contacted about my order not being filled or a refund.

This was my first time ordering from the restaurant, and I will definitely be back again! It was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had and the potato that I ordered was so large I could not even finish it. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any photos because I started eating as soon as I got it.
