I recently visited Mcgrath’s, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. However, our visit was marred by discrimination and unfair treatment. Despite presenting valid Canadian IDs, we were denied service and told our IDs were not accepted. This discriminatory behavior was both shocking and unacceptable. Furthermore, we were denied drinks under the false pretense of not having valid IDs, which is simply untrue. It's disheartening to encounter such blatant racism and unfair treatment in a supposedly inclusive place. Discrimination has no place in any business, and it's crucial for establishments to uphold basic standards of fairness and hospitality.I urge the management to address this issue promptly and implement measures to ensure that all patrons are treated with respect and fairness regardless of their nationality. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. And I would want the management to get back to me about the same.

Stopped in to grab a casual dinner. It’s reminiscent of an Irish pub with dining. They even have a little fireplace in the back- it may be electric but still a nice touch. My server Ari was so sweet and attentive. She took great care of me. It’s customer service like this that makes me come back and tell others. I ordered the Cesar salad with grilled chicken. It was a large portion and tasted great. She even sold me to bring some house made berry cheesecake with me for later tonight. Pricing was reasonable, service was great, and the vibe was great. What’s not to like?

First time there. Had their Hunter's Chicken. Very good and very filling! Will definitely go back and test out other menu item.

The best local Irish Pub in Harrisburg! Bartender Jen is the bomb!! Fun, welcoming and accommodating. Definitely try the Hunter's Chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies. Delicious!! It has a definite Irish hometown vibe. Feels like you're in good ol' Dublin Two story bars available and street parking, but it was nice to just stumble.upon it while walking downtown. Whether it's stopping in for a quick late afternoon drink, a relaxing dinner, or late night nibble and drinks - this is your place. It's even hoppin' at 11pm on a Sunday. Couples gathered to play cards, visit with friends, or post show at the Whitaker Ctr. Such an inviting spot, visited 3 times in one day

Very kind staff, quick service, incredible food and cocktails plus huge portions for the size and quality. This is such a cozy place to hang out and have an amazing meal. My fiancé and I loved coming here for a low-key Valentine's date and are definitely coming back soon! (Ps. please keep the disco fries on the menu forever) :-) we went all out and basically ordered whatever we wanted without regard for the price and it was still shockingly affordable. We took at least half of our food home as well because the portions are so large. The blackened salmon and grits, hunters chicken, boxty, blarney bread, and disco fries were perfect.

Had the Sausage Stroganoff, great flavor. Friends had the Fish and Chips, the fish was salmon and they seemed to enjoy it. Good beer selection. Good music. Would go again.

The environmental aspect was everything I thought it would be. Entertaining and fun. I came with two friends and it was a blast. The service was fast and the food was spectacular. I had wings that were crispy (how I asked and liked them) and the sauces are all home made which I like knowing they didn’t come out of a jar. It was absolutely a great experience. Go if you can! The advice and food are delicious.
