My breakfast was good, my son wasn't really into the gf pancakes. He said he would go back and try something else. Lots of gf options

Mellow Minded Cafe is so welcoming and the decor is beautiful! The food options are abundant! I had the spicy peach smoothie! I was with a group. My friends had french toast, eggs, fruit and coffee. All was delicious!! We were serviced quickly and with a smile!! Thank you!

The coffee itself was definitely five star. The food itself didn’t even register on my taste buds.

Love it here! Highly recommend the delicious grass-fed burger. They have gluten free options, tasty smoothies and desserts, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Super nice staff. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing. I took pictures of the tuna salad sandwich that I ordered. That was fresh really great bread. I love that you can place an order over the phone and Pick Up and really appreciated the accommodation. This restaurant could be a 5+, but I just haven’t tasted enough of the menu to give that rating. I’m sure that it is and I hope to come back and try the menu. Look like there were plenty of vegan to pescatarian options and that’s nice Thank you so much.

I have never written a review, but I feel this experience is worth sharing.
My guest and I arrived 35 minutes before the posted closing time—plenty of time, in my opinion, to be welcomed for a simple meal. This restaurant serves primarily salads and sandwiches—not exactly the kind of dishes that require long prep or extended time in the kitchen. Instead, the first interaction we had was a staff member walking past us, saying loudly, “Didn’t you see the sign? We close at 2—yes, 2.”
Shortly after, the same person returned to the counter, slammed a bill down in frustration, and remarked, “I guess I’m not enjoying my day off. What can I get you?” This set an uncomfortable tone immediately. I asked politely if they would prefer we leave, to which the response was, “No, go ahead, I’ll be here late today—and nothing else is open, so go ahead and order.”
At that point, the unprofessionalism and lack of hospitality made the decision easy: we left. As we walked out, I was reminded that a restaurant’s reputation is built not just on food, but also on how guests are treated—especially within operating hours.
While I understand staff may be eager to finish their day, and yes it is a holiday, guests arriving well before closing should never feel like an inconvenience, especially for straightforward items like a salad or sandwich. Respectful communication goes a long way, and unfortunately, that was missing here.

Lovely little place; so cute and the food is AMAZING! We were thrilled to find a place with so many excellent gluten free options. My turkey reuben on gluten free bread was the best sandwich I've had in years. I couldn't even speak. Just lots of ecstatic chewing.

i’m out of town, i’m originally from new york. i came into hershey for a concert. this was my first time ever at the cafe here and i thought it was cute. the cashier, “janelle” (that’s the name on the receipt) she is an older lady. she didn’t have a welcoming tone or aura when i went up, she could have worded things better for being in customer service, mind you im in customer service myself. when i asked what portion size the homefires were she said “well what do you mean?” it seemed very hostile and not welcoming at all. she needs to be retrained on how to interact with customers accordingly.
the food however was delicious! thank you to the chef/cooks.

Was travelling through with a small camper and wanted a small local business for breakfast. This spot did not disappoint. Parked easily on the street and walked over. There is breakfast, lunch, smoothies, and pastries available here. Drop coffee only but they invite you to support the coffee shop two doors down and bring it over if you want! Very friendly staff greets you and brings you your food after ordering at the counter. Good was fresh, fast, and delicious. We will for sure come back!

First time coming here, will definitely be the last. Janelle’s customer service needs to be reevaluated! Very rude!
