This is a hidden gem in the Steelton area. I've had subs from everywhere else around town, and hands down, these guys make some of if not the best subs in town. The cheese steak was addictingly delicious. Real beef, not steak-umms. Plenty of caramelized onions and Whiz. I couldn't stop eating it. I wanted to save half, but that didn't happen. Plenty of seating for dine in if needed, with a tv. The Mrs had the salad with tuna salad. What a huge serving! Plenty of greens and enough tuna salad for 2 light lunches or one hearty one. They close early unfortunately, so get them before they close. I'll definitely be back many more times, as there are many more subs to try, if I don't get another cheese steak. I highly recommend this place. Seriously, try a cheese steak, you won't be disappointed.

Oh my! Always wanted to stop here but it seemed I always was nearby when they weren’t opened. Needing big subs I preordered 4 19 inch ones 2 ham and cheese and 2 Italian for a family gathering! we all were very pleased ! Fresh ingredients and sooo good! We will all be back!

Very great subs! good pricingI personally think the sub-shop quality in this highspire/hbg area is pretty consistently awful ~ but we were so pleased to find this little gem... they will be our GO-TO sub shop before we hit the river every time

Mr. R’s is one of my favorite places to stop for lunch or to pick something up before they close to have for dinner that night. They have exceptional customer service. Their top shelf Italian sub is delicious. Great quality meats/cheeses and their sub rolls are always so fresh. I can’t wait to continue to try different menu items that they have to offer!
