This location stands out from other options in the area. Very good atmosphere once you enter the dining area. They did seem short staffed, as we were told there would be a wait; it took us 30 minutes for our appetizer and another 30 for our main dish. But the food was well worth the wait. Very satisfying flavors and spices, as well as excellent lamb. Very good amount of menu options to try as well. Would very well recommend.

I wanted to take my coworkers out for Indian and Royal Kitchen was closed Tuesday, so we went downtown to try Passage to India. Overall, the food lets us down a lot. The rice was cold. The chili paneer was just confused [it was black instead of red with spice]. The veg curries we ordered tasted like Trader Joes, not authentic. Lastly, some of the menu items rung up higher than the menu price. Overall for $30 / person it was not worth it at all. The staff was over worked but very helpful and friendly when he got to us. Maybe the buffet is better. I wouldn't go again.
