I live nearly 2 hours away and have to make a stop at Porter’s House when I’m in Harrisburg. I’ve purchased meals from the Broad Street market and 3rd Street locations and haven’t been disappointed yet. I usually order from the market location. I’m a Jamaican and the food tastes like home. The giant fried dumplings are one of my favorite. I’ve tried other Jamaican restaurants in Harrisburg and there is no comparison.

I was in the area and decided to give this place a try . The food was delicious and they gave large portions .The customer service was great. I had the Fried Sanpper steamed okra and rice and peas.
