This place is such a fraud in itself. Yes, it may seem like they’re just a small business in need but it doesn't justify the fact that they can just scam customers and charge them a different price than discussed. I was a victim of this when I was a visitor to this mall. What was supposed to be $18 turned into $29? What's even worse was the same thing happened to a little kid and it happened right in front of my face. The food wasn't even good. It was dry, mushy, and it just didn't taste fresh at all. After this experience, I never went there again and started going to this actual Chinese restaurant across from them. I then realized that Sakura Tokyo is supposed to sell Japanese and Vietnamese food so why are they selling inauthentic Chinese food when they're not supposed to while deliberately stealing someone else’s business? Ever since I stopped going, I’ve noticed that I’m often receiving disgusted looks from the lady and the guy working here. This enrages me because I have multiple reasons why I don’t go here anymore and here you are giving me dirty looks for absolutely no reason. So in my opinion, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SCAMMING BUSINESS. Any other restaurant in the food court is better than this. Plus, if you feel like eating Chinese food or just any Asian food, just go to Chef Chen’s. They’ve got everything and it’s so much better. P.S. the lady smiles creepily at everyone.

I loved the Chinese food here like the Sesame Chicken ! It was so delicious and I’ve tried their pho noodle soup. They were all outstanding. Chef’s kisses. Totally recommend this place instead of the other places in the food court.

Sakura Tokyo has the better of the pho options in Strawberry Square. Other food is decent.

The food is trash and the guy working there was very rude. When I was asking for a refund after my fried rice came with none of the veggies as advertised, the man working (who i believe is the owner) yelled at me and during our discussion he smacked the woman working with him on her arm to push her hand away. I will never go back.

One of my fave lunch stops near the capitol. They’re always friendly, and make great fresh sushi and their own fresh wontons too - I def recommend their pink lemonade as well! ?

Sushi is decent but pricey for the amount you get. The fried rice has no flavor and the chicken was dry, as if sitting under the heat for hours. Not never fresh.

Great prices and great food! They always remember my order no matter how long it's been since I was there last. Always a friendly smile and super nice people. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the tokyo chicken and rice platter, and it's an amazing price for such a fill-up!

There were too many signs telling me eating here was a bad idea. The most obvious being the lack of customers, while nearby places, including the Taco Bell, had long lines. I stupidly took it as a sign of convenience. I ordered the rice and 1 meat lunch option (fried rice and jalapeno chicken) and I'm disappointed. The chicken was too oily and bland, with some heat from the jalapenos. The fried rice taste old and reheated. Some of the grains are slightly hard. I would never eat the pho from here. I could imagine that its probably overly salted powdered soup base or bouillon. I'd take my $7-$8 and go to a proper pho restaurant. I would most certainly never eat sushi from here. I should have heeded the warning from those signs and also looked at the other review posted. Never again.
