I went in a few days ago and bought a variety of items and most of them you could tell were sitting out for to long. The eclairs were hard and the inside was gummy, the macaroons were hard as a rock, the cake balls were wet and soggy. Now the cream puffs were very good. You could tell they were fresh. I don’t think I’ll be returning. Oh and the building looks awful from the outside. That place really needs some TLC inside and out.

My husband ordered a cake for my 40th birthday upon his co-workers recommendation, as we had just moved to the area. It did not disappoint! In my experience, pretty cakes are dry and moist cakes don't seem to hold up to a lot of decorating. Schenk's knocked it out of the park! Cake was gorgeous and I couldn't have asked for it to be more delicious.

We got a pie given to us as a gift that came from Schenk's. The bottom crust was so thick and hard. The top crust was also extremely thick as well, very tough and hard to eat. Then the filling the apples were crispy and undercooked, some of them still had core on them. One of the worst pies I have ever had.
