Came here because it was open, not crowded, and close to my hotel. I could not be happier that I walked in. The bartender was AMAZING and should be called a mixologist. His drinks were on point and he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and really into his craft.

The food was good, the dessert was amazing. The whipped cream was out of this world.

It was not crowded on the rainy Tuesday so I feel like service was top notch. I would not hesitate to return and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

The was awesome service is good the food however, it was not good at all we had the flank steak, cheese and parmesan, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese the only thing that tasted right is the mashed potatoes the rest either suboptimal or so bad

Thank you chef for wonderfully cooked dishes! Highly recommend Duck! Yuuuumy🙂 You should not be in a hurry to have another drink to be given in no time. We were waiting for 23 minutes in an almost empty room. So my advice: ask for 3 drinks when they come, save you time and mood. And again, food is delectable good!

Came in at 6 on a Saturday and no crowd, should have been the first red flag. Service was good, but our drinks were lackluster, and food even worse. Gin drinks had no gin, straight tonic, and food was room temp. We had to send back one of the apps we ordered as it was actually refrigerator cold, like how do you mess up potato skins? We also ordered flat bread and the meal looked like they poured aioli sauce straight from the lexan, creating a mayonnaise soup on top of a very unevenly portioned flat bread. The flat bread was also lukewarm. We also ordered scallops which were ok, but again cold food, and also 3 baby scallops for 18 is a rip off.

One of the only surviving nicer bar restaurants downtown. Good happy hour. Often feels a little under staffed, but friendly service.

I attended a HYP-hosted event for the purpose of socializing. It was a pleasant experience. I had the opportunity to meet several people, and the atmosphere was welcoming and amiable. The food was also delicious.

Great place! We had the Mediterranean Flatbread and a Pastrami sandwich, both were excellent. Good service as well.

Very comfortable atmosphere with friendly service and good food. Appealing, diverse options available from duck to osso buco to scallops to burgers. Many good beers on tap.

Just stopped in for a few drinks. Very classy establishment with high end cocktails. Had a smoked rim mule and it was delicious. Service was excellent. This is a higher end bar/restaurant and the prices are in line with that image.

I enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Risotto, the Fried Shrimp Po' Boy, and the Roasted Beet Salad with baby spinach, toasted pistachios, crumbled goat cheese, and lemon vinaigrette! Did I mention the risotto? I even brought an extra order home to share with my mother, who saved some for my sister. Dad loved the risotto too!

As for my service, I entered around 7:15 PM (my receipt shows my server's name is William D.) and left at 7:59 PM. The dining room was empty, with just a few guests at the bar. The bartender glanced over and asked if he could help me. I asked, “Is the kitchen still open?” He replied, “Yes, sorta.” I said, “Okay, table for one,” but then decided to sit at the bar to make it easier for the team since I didn’t see any waitstaff.

The vibe I got from William was one of skepticism, as if he didn’t trust me to be a customer. To break the ice, I shared my experience from a vegan restaurant I had just visited, where the staff was rude. I mentioned that I left without ordering because I was hungry, tired, and I wanted to avoid a negative experience. After hearing my story, William’s energy changed, and he even apologized for my experience.

However, he still seemed unsure about me, as if he doubted my ability to afford my meal. To ease the vibe I asked where the crab meat was from. He said Maryland, but I knew it was out of season. He checked with the kitchen and then clarified that it was coming from overseas. After that exchange, he seemed more chill as he thanked me for asking the question as he was now more knowable.

I noticed William talking to his manager, and I felt like he might have been sharing my experience with her. When she brought my food over, she smiled, though it seemed a bit like she was wondering who I was. I appreciated her bringing it over and William's effort to correct the initial vibe.

In short, everyone deserves a warm and welcoming greeting… I felt like I had to earn mines. Shoutout to the manager. While I was finishing dinner I noticed the bartender walked from behind the bar to greet a party of two (waiting for 4 others) at the door while my greeting was from across the bar while proceeding to shine barware.

But did I mention the Food was Fantastic!!!! Great service Recovery!

Wow oh wow. This was my first time visiting Harrisburg as well as my first eating experience in our state capital in general. To say these least I was thoroughly impressed.. the ambience and drink made me feel like I was on AirForce 1. The most important person in Harrisburg.. which was only made possible by the bartender Andrea. Oh man oh man I am forgetful so I hope I got her name right. But she is the red head Jessica Chastain look alike that made me feel like a million bucks. Throughout the entire experience she made sure my drinks and food all were up to par. And they were up to par! To the level of a 5 star restaurant. Only made possible by this her and the eating establishment !! Thank you. Will recommend this eatery all the way back home in the poconos
