This company made a super last minute order for the business I work for. They were so so accommodating and kind about our situation. Got to speak with Darmayne who was lovely and really helped execute our vision!
Could not recommend this business more!

dare I say, the best wedding cake I’ve ever tasted (not just because im biased and its my wedding cake) but Darmayne has truly mastered and outdone herself with this cake. With the top 2 tiers being carrot cake and bottom tier Raspberry Lemonade with Peach and Apricot filling, our guests had nothing but great things to say, this cake was delicious and beautiful and everything we wanted and more! Darmayne provided great customer service whether it was suggestions to help with our designs, or clear communication, she does it all! We saved the top tier of our cake for our one year anniversary and we cannot wait or stop thinking about it!! Thank you again Sweet Confections!!

Sweet Confection’s Cakes went above and beyond all of my expectations for my daughter’s baby shower cake! Not only was the cake beautiful, it was delicious as well! Darmayne is wonderful to work with and so sweet. She takes her time speaking with you to ensure everything is perfect. I received so many compliments on this cake. Going forward all of our cakes will be ordered from Darmayne. I highly recommend Sweet Confection's Cakes.

I found the cake that I purchase was very dry , not moist at all I was very disappoint even the icing wasn’t tasty

Presentation - 4.8/5
The cake I got for our wedding looked absolutely stunning. Except for the little ribbon at the bottom which was never discussed and honestly so so tacky. Who wants a ribbon at the bottom of their fancy elaborate wedding cake for a formal event with the bakery name and phone number plastered across it like a billboard? Come on. Put it on a card off to the side… Had I known that was going to be there, I would’ve said absolutely not or ripped it off and had the venue put a plain ribbon around it. Guess I’ll have to photoshop that out. The broken open geode and the marbling was stunning. I did recall asking for white fondant with black and gold marbling as I didn’t want black to get in my teeth and it ended up being black with white and gold marbling. It still looked good but I definitely avoided the outside at the wedding which wouldn’t have been needed had it been the white base we talked about.

Unfortunately, when we had our tasting, we spoke about two tiers - each with a different flavor combination. It was why we went with two tiers. If we only wanted one flavor, we were going to do a single tier as it was just a cutting cake for us, not a cake for our guests. I saw that the multiple flavors we liked were written down on the idea sheet along with design details etc. My husband and I were confident we were getting a white chocolate cake / cookies and cream filling for one tier and a chocolate cake / peanut butter filling for the second tier. When we cut into it, it was all white chocolate cake with peanut butter filling - delicious, but simply never a combination we would’ve ordered. In our mind, peanut butter always goes with chocolate. It was my fault for not checking the sheet we signed as it got written down as that combination, however, with as confident as the owner was speaking with us about our wishes, I walked out not thinking I had to. Stupid me. Big mistake.

Customer Service - 2/5
After I reached out voicing my frustration with what happened, I was essentially told, too bad so sad, we went off the paper that you signed. Which, fine. I wasn’t asking for my $500 back. But what would’ve been a nice gesture and probably only cost them $5 (if that) out of their pocket, would’ve been saying you know what, here’s a small little 6” cake or a few cupcakes with the flavor combinations you actually wanted, so sorry things got mixed up. Instead, I was told it would be $65.

Lesson learned. Always check and double check your sheet regardless of how clear you are being in the tasting. Also put in writing in an email or somewhere what you explicitly want and do not want.

Overall - do they make tasty cakes? Yes. Do they look beautiful? Yes. But my warning - be EXPLICITLY clear with what you want. Write it on the sheet yourself if you have to. Or else it may not be quite what you wanted. Don’t just assume based on a good conversation that it will be written down how you want. And for the price, you definitely should make sure it’s what you want.

Worst place ever ruined my wedding cake

I had a vision for my wife’s birthday cake, and this bakery brought it to life even better than I could’ve imagined. The cake was incredibly soft and moist, with a rich Oreo filling that was simply irresistible. The decorations were stunning—vibrant, intricate, and absolutely on point. Every detail was executed flawlessly.

Ordering was a breeze, and pickup couldn’t have been more convenient. I especially appreciated the sturdy decorative tray at the bottom of the cake—it made transporting it effortless and safe. The staff was warm, welcoming, and truly detail-oriented, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The cake was a showstopper at the party. Not a single guest had anything but praise—everyone raved about the taste and wanted to know where it was from. I honestly don’t know how anyone could leave disappointed. If you're looking for a cake that delivers on both flavor and presentation, this is the place. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Darmayne and her crew are the best. Our daughter incorporated her Sweeet 16 theme into her cake, Step into Spring at Kayden Couture”. The flowers, ribbon, colors and my daughter’s LOGO. Love it!!

My first time in and I must say I was highly impressed with the atmosphere and the wonderful service and professionalism. I got a tour and was allowed to take pictures. This place is amazing. 10 stars for creativity and uniqueness. They truly can make any design. However they don’t have much selection in their case. And maybe it’s just me… but I didn’t care for what I purchased. The cupcake was super dry. I was expecting a very moist cake. The frosting wasn’t the greatest. But she did warn me I may not like it. I just wish the cake was not dry. The slice of pumpkin cheesecake was - again not at all what I expected. The flavors didn’t blend as I hoped. It was like eating 2 separate cakes in one. I’m sure they are amazing - just not my taste 💚💜

My spouse and I had a delightful experience working with Sweet Confections for our quedding cake. From our first tasting through to delivery of a final product on our wedding day, they were one of the most enjoyable vendors we had the pleasure of working with. We entered the cake process with just a vision and idea of what we wanted and this was transformed into a stunning centerpiece cake that showcased so well our creative eccentricity while also retaining some traditional style elements. The cake was the talk of the reception, and also tasted GREAT which is so difficult to do gluten free.
