Great experience now that it's Taste Buffalo. Wings were crispy and a little light on sauce, but flavorful and tasty. Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Whatever your political views, the Smash Room has you covered (can only throw alcoholic drinks, other than shot and martini glasses). Definitely go.

Great happy deals. The Margheritas are good. The taco selection is fantastic.

My friend and I went to Taste Agave Tequila & Taco Bar tonight, and at first we only stopped in for one drink to get us started for a nightly shenanigans. We live in NY, so we were excited to try the different places on the strip. The customer service was so lovely and wonderful that although we left after only one drink, we were EXCITED to come back and receive such positive service. When we came back, we continued to have great service from Katie and Carter and ended up staying over two hours and we would have stayed longer if we weren’t rudely interrupted by the OWNER of the establishment. The owner was upset and scolded the two for positively interacting with us during our game of UNO (You can play UNO there for fun) and did it not only in front of the customers but forced one to leave for no good reason AND when he was off the clock and no longer in uniform. Where we live and work (in customer/food service) our boss praises us on positive interactions with customers and tells us to do that to achieve more SALES and make the customers happy. This boss instead thought that even though he was a j*** that we would stay? No. Absolutely not. We gave them a really great tip and told them we were sorry for having a boss that doesn’t care about human beings and good interactions that make the restaurant seem worth it. As our first and last time coming to this place I am extremely happy with our service, but am unfortunately dissatisfied with the owners values in how they run operations and don’t see myself wanting to go to any of his bars on the strip again (also wouldn’t recommend anyone going to this place either as long as he’s there, unless they want a very very VERY uncomfortable experience). Thank you Katie and Carter for your excellent service!

You cannot beat their happy hour deal for two delicious tacos and a margarita. The tacos were very good, I had the Tempeh Chorizo and I loved the little crunch it had. It was very tasty. It comes with Mexican rice, which...if I was a fan of Mexican rice, I would've liked it. I'm just not a fan of Mexican rice--too tomato-y for me! I tried a couple margaritas -- the lavender, which was so refreshing and the strawberry kiwi, which was also very good. We sat outside on a beautiful day, but the inside is really nice and modern. Bathrooms are down stairs. Service was only so/so. She got busy and seemed to forget about us more than once.

How do I put this. My two friends and I tried this place out and it was mediocre at best. I ordered the chip and dip appetizer and by the time I ate the queso, it had already hardened. The guacamole was passable as well as the salsa verde. The chips did not seem homemade and were a tad salty. They were out of corn tortillas which seemed intentional since we were never asked which tortillas we preferred. I would've like to have tasted the rice but sadly were never given utensils to try it. The only thing this place has going are the cocktails and not the premixed margaritas they try to pass off and put on display for all to see. For a tequila bar, margaritas should be made to order not premixed like country time lemonade. Thank you, next.

Stopped in for happy hour this past Friday. We ordered margaritas and the dip flight. Yes, a majority of the margaritas are sweet, but there are a few that aren't. The watermelon, peach, and jalapeño ones aren't terribly sweet! The raspberry lemon was soooo sweet, but I assumed it would be. We got to sit outside and people watch all while sipping margaritas and eating chips. Anytime our drinks were close to being empty, we were promptly asked if we'd like another. And at happy hour prices, it's hard to say no. However eventually you have to stop or you won't be able to get wherever you need to go because they are strong!! The dip flight was good. The queso wasn't my favorite (odd texture), but the guac and salsa were pretty damn tasty. The chips are salty, which to me is a good thing. We didn't get "real food" however would like to next time. The people sitting around us that had food appeared to like it. We can't wait to go back, as it was a fun experience and we really enjoyed our time there!!

Went for happy hour on a wednesday based on their websites advertisement of the specials offered. Server informed us that special is no longer available and would not honor it even though it was on the website same-day. We each ordered a margarita, thankfully at happy hour price because they were just okay. Food was "meh". I will likely not be returning.

Is there no air conditioning??? Good Lord was it hot in there. Service was sub par ...pretty slow.. and they looked lost like "oh there's people at this table..we'll be right with you....." ....... ......... Drinks were good tho. So there's that at least. Food was good too although the house queso was grainy melted cheese. All in all I say ...mer. *shrug

Everything was kind of bland and salty. I did love my chili shrimp tacos. The waitress was very nice also. Not sure if I would go back. I don't drink so probably not.

I wanted to give this place a chance despite it's 2.5 star Yelp and Google ratings, since it's new and there weren't many reviews, but I have to agree with most reviewers... the margaritas were poorly mixed, the tacos were bland, and the queso had a really weird texture. I did like the salsa verde from the chip & dip flight though. The restaurant itself is nice, and larger than expected, but otherwise I'm disappointed by this place.

I came for the botanical margarita flights and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the wedge salad and the chilli Sriracha Brussel sprouts. My companions ordered tacos and the chip and dip flight. EVERYTHING we had was delicious. The brussel sports were cooked perfectly and the Siracha chilli glaze was amazing. The wedge salad was substantial and the creamy avocado dressing was a hit. If i could change one thing I would add a bit of acid to the corn salsa by way of lime juice or zest. Otherwise, I have zero complaints. The margaritas in the flight were small but potent. They were out of the lemon cilantro so the substituted the watermelon and it was amazing. My meal and drinks were amazing and this party only cost me about $23 before tip. Next time I visit the HBG I will definitely go back. If you're in the area check it out. The bartender is a cutie too!!

I don't know what those other reviewers ate or drank, but I had an AMAZING experience and strongly recommend you check it out for yourself. For starters, where else can you get a $5 flight of four - yes, 4 - different botanical inspired margaritas?? And. Each. One. Bangs!! We also had the chips & dip flight with guacamole, chorizo queso, and mango habanero salsa for only $8. The tacos - Korean beef short rib and chili shrimp - were great. But the real surprise were the freaking Brussels sprouts! Don't sleep on the Brussels sprouts!! Order extra - you're not gonna want to share.

The atmosphere was super cool and they had great drinks...but the food is terrible. Nothing Mexican about it. I got a chip and dip flight $8 that came with 3 dippers so I chose traditional cheese, pico, and guacamole. The cheese was straight up like some cheddar mac wiz...I also ordered fajita chicken tacos on corn tortillas. The tortillas were tough because they had been put on the flat top grill to crisp...not like the traditional double corn tortillas at all...the chicken was flavorless and tough. Oh it came with a side of "Spanish" rice that was also flavorless...I 100% recommend any other Mexican restaurant over this.

I liked the atmosphere and the margarita I had was great (cucumber jalapeí±o). That being said, the food was a total disappointment. We ordered the dip flight and the salsa was definitely the kind I buy at giant. The queso tasted okay but had a baby food kind of consistency . I ordered a chicken fajita and it was basically a chicken taco. I mean, the food tasted okay but I have had way better from places that aren't focused only on tacos. I won't need to eat here again.
