I recommend The Cheesesteak Guy for the food not for the service. Stopped in today shortly after opening and the young woman taking our order stood at the register braiding her hair. She continued to play with hair while answering the phone. This is very unprofessional and inappropriate not to say also unsanitary. Do your hair before work!!

Utterly dissatisfied with this restaurant. Have been here about 10 times and only 50% of the time is the restaurant actually open. Arrived tonight at a little past 6pm and the restaurant was closed again. No notice on the door. No notice posted on Facebook.
Since I know this location runs out of cheesesteaks many days of the week, I always check to see their status before driving over. Yet once again, I find the restaurant is closed and no notice was given. Unacceptable practice in running a business.
I have come to this business several times bc I felt the quality of the cheesesteaks were excellent. And that opinion does not change. The quality is excellent, but the piss poor communication is unacceptable.
Furthermore, as many others stated, one of the cashiers has a terrible attitude. She acts like she doesnt want to be there and is annoyed.
In addition, they have this absurd rule of not changing their menu. So if you want something or dont want something on a specific sandwich, you are out of luck. They wont let you make substitutions. Their burgers come on an onion roll and even though they have plain rolls, you cant have one. You must take the onion roll. Customers dictate how they want their food….not the restaurant. In 2025, we are seeing businesses closing left and right, from small to big corporate entities. And one thing they share in common is poor customer service.

Raw onions on a cheesesteak is something I’ve never seen before And I asked for mayo and tomatoes and the mayo was in packets lol tomatoes in a ziploc on the side. The roll was a nice touch but not even better than the worst cheesesteak from Philly. Can’t say much else about it.

Cheese steak was amazing! Small restaurant minimalistic dining room. Major complaint is that the napkins provided are extremely small and non-absorbent, which isn't very good for delicious greasy cheese steak lol.
