Food is high quality, proper Italian meats and cheeses, great bread from Philly. Bring cash, limited hours but it's great. Harrisburg needs more of these old school places where the food is just amazing and the place isn't just some bland corporate dining room.

Jackson House has been a true landmark eatery in Harrisburg City since 1982 when they first opened their doors!
Because their line to just place your order is typically out the door and literally around the block it took me til Friday to say, "This is day where I finally am taking the time to experience Jackson House's award winning Cheeseburger, French Fries with a side of their Special Sauce and REAL Cherry Coke!"
This "cash only" establishment was truly worth the 25 minutes wait in line to place my order and another 25 minutes to receive my order delivered to my table.
Everything was so incredibly fresh and tasty! I'd give my whole experience at Jackson House a perfect 10 from the warm welcoming and highly efficient service to the high quality, quantity and flavor of my tasty eats!
