Amazing is the best way to describe this. I come here often for long weekends and this weekend was a wine tasting to benefit the Whitaker Center. Keep up the great work! 6 on a scale of 1-5.
We had lunch at the Ad Lib Restaurant in the hotel. The menu was presented on an iPad, where you could tap and see photos of all of the items. That was so helpful! The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Our waiter, Mario, was very nice. When he heard that we were celebrating our daughter's birthday, he brought out a tray with enough small pieces of cake for all of us! What a nice touch!!
I think the Hilton Harrisburg is due for a good upgrade. It looked dated. Staff was friendly and helpful until we asked for a family friendly restaurant that doesn't serve the old burger and fries. We were directed on the front street to find one, rather not helpful! I think with a good upgrade and some staff training for a 4-5 star hotel it can be much more wonderful!
