We stopped in while visiting Harrisburg from out of state. The atmosphere is very welcoming. We loved the antique apothecary bar and the different cozy seating nooks. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly.
Truly spectacular food and service! Highly recommend. Husband and I (GF) both enjoyed every single bite and every sip. Every day for 3 straight days. If we didn't have to travel back home, we would have eaten there again and again. The hotel didn't include breakfast and I wasn't about to pay for their "buffet" and risk getting sick (Celiac). So happy the Find Me Gluten Free app suggested this place. Within walking distance to the (horrible) hotel. Will definitely stop back anytime we are close to Harrisburg. FIVE STARS! 🌟
Line was very long but we waited as we were not in a rush to be anywhere Sat outside because we were with our dog Food came super quick for the Amount of people that were in line in front of us Meat bowl was super good with a lot of meat Chicken and Vaffle was tasty Ordered Arnold Palmer and they brought lemonade server was a little snippy said her ticket didn’t say so but she would fix it Asked for a Togo cup for my latte and barista was totally put out like I was interrupting her day Might come back if we are ever in the area again
I highly recommend this restaurant because it offers a diverse menu that caters to various dietary preferences, exceptional service that ensures a memorable dining experience, and a charming atmosphere that creates a welcoming ambiance for patrons. Additionally, the restaurant's commitment to sustainability and supporting local suppliers adds an ethical dimension to the dining experience, appealing to conscientious consumers. Overall, this restaurant excels in providing excellent food, service, and ambiance, making it a must-visit dining destination.
The Good: The drinks were delicious. The honey lavender steamer and snickerdoodle latte, both great. The Cuban sandwich was pretty tasty. The Bad: (And sadly there were more bads than good.) The chicken vaffle was absolutely an atrocity. The waffle was flat and tasted like a run-of-the-mill store bought waffle. The chicken was so incredibly dry and tough and honestly, if I wasn’t so hungry when we arrived, I wouldn’t have eaten it. Another bad… the tables were so full of dirty dishes that even though folks had long left the tables, it was hard to find a place to sit because the tables had not been cleared. We loved this place when it was Tomato Pie and had high hopes for it but unfortunately we probably won’t return.
This meal literally made me emotional, haha. It’s not as hard to be gluten-free these days, but to be GF & Egg-Free, it increasingly gets difficult to eat out. The Table is my go-to place now because of how accommodating they are. And they also just have awareness and understanding. It’s incredible. And to top it off, this is the best, from scratch food in the area. Amazing!! Thank you for making a safe space to eat in such an adorable setting!

Slow service
This place was phenomenal! The food was delicious and the service was great. It’s a calming atmosphere with very friendly service. I recommend this place for anyone that likes to try new foods at non-chain restaurants.

Ordered on grubhub but they were confused by the order options they set up. Called me about this 5mins before my order was to be picked up and Took 15 mins longer to get than initially said. 2nd time ordering the same thing the first time there were no issue and food was ready at the time they said.

We are visiting Harrisburg and stumbled into this darling cafe. The atmosphere, food and service were wonderful. I had the veggie quiche and it tasted like real, nourishing food. Don’t miss this one if you’re looking for a delicious breakfast.

The Cuban sandwich was just ok. The pork was fatty and cut in thick slices that were tough and not easy to bite through. Nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly.

As a foodie, I came here a few days ago and was not impressed with the food. Coffee was good and looked pretty. I work in a restaurant and understand mistakes, but this was more than that. There were 3 of us adults and 2 kids and every plate was sub par. I feel bad saying that, because the service and staff were great. The atmosphere is great, it’s beautiful inside. But it seems more money was spent beautifing the inside rather than focusing on the food. The smoked burger was tasteless, the pesto panini was bland, the brisket sandwich was alright, the waffle fries served with everything were horribly cooked. They were super soggy and tasted old. The chicken breast in the sandwich and kids meals tasted reheated and was chewy. The kids grilled cheese looked neat(rainbow bread), but the cheese was not even melted. I’m leaving a review in hopes they can take the food into more consideration. At least the lunch meals. It needs FLAVOR, and also some attention to serving undercooked food.

Pretty little spot but the food left much to be desired. I tried a little bit of everything that my table had and none of us truly enjoyed what we got. The burger was flavorless. The pesto chicken panini had potential but the chicken tasted as if it were reheated in the microwave and not cooked fresh to order(chewy). The sweet potato waffle fries were so soggy and not crispy at all, also tasted microwaved and undercooked. The brisket sandwich was meh.
The service was great and the people were sweet. The food presented well and looked asthetically pleasing But really hoped for amazing tasting food. I don’t know that I’d come back.
