We went there to have lunch on December 2nd, 2022. We ordered tandoori chicken and goat curry. Tandoori chicken comes with nothing. Goat curry comes with rice.According to our taste bud, we didn’t like the goat curry. It is cooked with coconut gravy and some Indian spices. However, it didn’t serve our expectations. On the contrary, the tandoori chicken was delicious. You get only four pieces of tandoori chicken. Actually two leg quarters cut into 4 pieces. Other restaurants do the same. But Tuskers’ price was very overpriced compared to other restaurants nearby. If I talk about the service , then I would say for us it was below average. We asked for napkins they didn’t give at the first place. Then we asked again. The guy did bring the napkins but put those on the area of the table where some curry fell. So, couldn’t use those napkins as well.Overall, I would say the food is overpriced, at least for those two items that we had. One of the items didn’t serve up to our expectations. The service was 2/5. The environment was good.
Wow! Authentic as it gets! Taste goes to a point where I could say food drunk! Amazing. What an outstanding menu that stacks with one great dish after another! Hands down best Indian dishes in the country. Attention to detail and satisfying all of our taste buds!
Vegetarian options: The best! Such a delight to have a cuisine with authenticity of India!
Parking: Ample parking
Taking the time to look for a good place to eat based on reviews, we stumbled upon a treat. Driving from North Carolina to Connecticut.Making the stop was more than worth the effort.Having tasted really good Indian cuisine. We did not expect to discover in our opinion the best quality dishes outside India. Our pallets thanked us!From the beverages to dishes we were mesmerized by it’s captured delight. True to its core authenticity not matched in the US thus far.Sunil took a menu and blissfully captured his passions for food and invited us into his home of flavors. With a closed eye bow of our heads swelling the taste buds delight we savor.Amazing and now a place we will frequent every time we make the pass on 95. Our detour has to come here!!
I know the area’s Indian food, I’ve eaten at every Indian restaurant in the region. Straight to the point… Tuskers is EXCELLENT, they have no peer on the East Shore. The food is fresh, wonderfully spiced/seasoned, an absolute flavor bomb, presented well, and they have excellent service. They also offer Indo-Chinese cuisine which is equally as amazing (try the chicken Manchurian). I’ve have never eaten in Tuskers and walked away disappointed. On the contrary, every single time I am highly impressed! The Korma, Tikka Masala, Pepper Chicken Fry, Chicken 65, Kadhai, Vindaloo, Dosa, it’s all fantastic…There are only two truly excellent Indian restaurants in the region, and Tuskers is the only one of them on the East Shore. If you are a fan of Indian food, Chinese food, or flavorful food in general, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. After many dining experiences with Tuskers I give them a robust 5/5 stars. Truly an outstanding gem in the Capital region.
OH MY LORD. Try this place. Just do it! We’ve eaten here twice and I love it. Very friendly, talkative owner willing to go into menu in depth to help find something right for you. A very wide menu and reasonable prices for the portions. The owner even brought us a free soup and some special hot peppers from their hometown just because he wanted me to try them. TONS of great vegetarian options in every category. But plenty for the meat eaters too. I heard him tell the next table their goat is a highlight, so my husband may try that next time. Spice level ranges based on what you want. The items we absolutely loved from our two visits: Hot and sour soup (totally unique and loaded with finely diced veggies), dosa, samosa chaat choley, garlic naan, gobi Manchurian, curry chicken. Things we liked a lot: Butter chicken, fish curry. I tried the malai mutter paneer and it was good, but not the style of mutter paneer I’m used to (it’s usually my go-to dish). I prefer a more red/orange tomatoey sauce, and theirs is much heavier on the cream and has cashew milk or purée (I’m not sure) in the sauce. But my husband liked this sauce the best of the three dishes we tried today. So it’s not bad at all, just wasn’t my favorite. Honestly, I should have asked the owner for a recommendation based on my likes rather than just picking my own thing. One thing missing from the menu is Bengan bartha (eggplant cooked in tandoor with tomato/chili sauce.) I’ll bet they would make an amazing one! Finished up with an Indian cream popsicle from the cooker to calm down all the spice I ate. Perfect topper. Bottom line, if you love Indian food, just go here! It was not busy at all at lunch, but he said they get packed at dinner time, FYI.
Best Indian food in the area! Service is great. The owners are kind and work hard to make sure you have a good experience. They're also super knowledgeable about the food.
I don't have enough words to describe how fantastic our meal was. I had the chicken curry and my fiancé had the butter chicken. My curry was perfect, her butter chicken was even better. Without a doubt one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
Delicious food!!! This place is the best restaurant I have experienced! It is apparent that the employees here are passionate about good food. First time ever leaving a review. Highly recommend!
Stopped in for lunch yesterday while passing through the area. Super interesting menu with lots to choose from; it was acutally difficlut to pick. My wife liked her Paneer Chilli and I thouroughly enjoyed my Chicken 65. Service was pretty good and the prices are not bad at all for what you get. Great place, will make it a point to swing by when back in the area.
My husband and I stopped in for a curry while visiting Harrisburg and we weren’t disappointed. We have a favourite curry house in Brampton, Ontario so we are spoiled but this place was a great find. The curry was tasty and the naan bread was beautiful. Our server was an absolute gem! So so funny and friendly! It’s BYOB which we enjoyed as we were able to take the wines we like.

Stopped by this restaurant for lunch with family while driving to New Jersey. It’s conveniently located near I-81, tasty Indian food, best Customer service. If you are in and around this area, stop by to have a bite of Indian flavors.
The food is fantastic full of flavor absolutely delicious! the service was wonderful and loved the atmosphere! would definitely recommend. price was very reasonable, a lot of food for the money.
Absolutely fabulous experience. These folks treat you like family. Great food, great conversation, great time! Will DEFINITELY be going back - although hopefully my girlfriend remembers her glasses and doesn’t have to borrow our hot’s reading specs!!
Very disappointed on my last visit. I have had excellent food here before. The owner said it was a “light Saturday evening”, yet it took over 20 minutes for someone to even take the order. The appetizer and dinner arrived together after another 25 minutes. The order included orders of extra crispy plain dosa and onion rava dosa. Both were limp and barely warm. No one came over to ask if the food was ok. Hope things improve again.
Great food and great service!
