I love brother Joe! Food is very good but the real best thing is the owner. Really nice person, he entartained us during the dinner. Strongly suggested!
Excellent food, service and od course vino. Homemade Italian at reasonable prices.Food: 5/5
We really like this restaurant and their creative specials. We've never had a bad meal here. Be sure to call ahead for reservations, esp on a Friday or Saturday night. They get packed.
Found Vino online while passing through on the highway. Reviews looked good so we took a chance. Not disappointed at all. Everything from apps to wine was excellent, Service top notch and prices extremely reasonable. If we lived nearby this would most definitely be a regular spot.
Just called to place an order for takeout and was told let me check if we are doing takeout tonight. What owner in their right mind would pick and choose what nights to do take out on??? Unbelievable
Our party of four ordered Veal Marsala, Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Eggplant Parm, Veal Cardinale, side Caesar salads, potato soup, and salted caramel cheesecake. Everything was delicious! Our server, Randi, was very friendly and efficient. Looking forward to our next visit.
Hard fail, zero attempt to provide customer service. They wouldn't even attempt to help us.
Service good; food, not so much! I've been to Vino's about 10 times over the years, the the food always underwhelms me. It's like they use the pizza business they own next door's sauce, and add some meat to it. The rigatoni is pre-cooked. That means over-cooked. Who does that? I even asked for al dente pasta and, well I can go on and on. My wife's chicken special was just "ok." It's not like we have a lot of great Italian restaurants (other than Gabriella's) but if you want my advice, pick any one of the other ones. Again, the servers are good. It's hard enough to get servers so I am sorry for them. They deserve a place with better food.
A group of our " Central PA foodies" visited Vino's and filled out a survey after:- Food Taste: 5 Stars- Service/Staff: 5 Stars- Price Range: Affordable- When asked will you come back again: 100% of the foodies answer YES.Comments: Smooth reservation process. Server was very attentive. Everyone loved their food so much and felt it was the best Italian food they had in central PA also reasonably affordable. Special comments made about how delicious is the house dressing. We loved it and we can’t wait to come back again!A Must-Try: Everything on the menu.
Saw the 4.6 stars. Decided to go for my husband's birthday. My family was stopped at the door in an unwelcoming manner. We were told that we must have a reservation while multiple tables we're empty. I have 2 children and the staff member offered us to sit at the bar! We left called Gabriella Italian Restaurant and was welcomed at the door and offered a table even though the place was packed! They lost my business on the other hand Gabriella's food was amazing, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Very good value, good service , plenty of options, friendly servers, great bread, reasonably priced
First time visit; unassuming exterior appearance and not a large space but friendly and attentive service. Reasonable prices and food quality/portions (salad included with dinner.). Good wine selection and pricing. Would recommend.
Wanted to edit since I was referring to a different Vino restaraurant. Sorry
Exceptional value. Food and wine a third of the price of other good Italian restaurants nearby. Very good.
Don’t pass this place up- it’s in a strip mall and it looked closed, really glad I pulled on the door. Friendly staff, nice looking bar. Really big Italian classic menu but when I’m trying a new Italian, I usually test with Penne Vodka. Glad I ordered the small antipasto because it was huge- nice selection of cheese, meat and veggies. Salad was fresh and tasty. I was at the bar and could tell the chef was watching me eat my salad so my pasta could come out hot and fresh and it sure did. Really enjoyed every bite. Plentiful portion making cost and value amazing. Really nice little spot- don’t pass it up
