Portion sizes are huge, I brought 1/2 mine home. Had to get pie to go, my husband got coconut cream nice size piece, said it was delicious. I got Peanut butter again very nice size piece, very sweet but oh so amazing, that was 3 days ago andI'm still eating it
Believe me this restaurant won't disappoint.

Breakfast disappointed...buckwheat pancakes, raw...no buckwheat, cold tasted like sour paste. Asked for sausage, got bacon. Waited 1 hr and food somewhat warm. Sorry to say. Heard nothing but great things.
Great place to eat family friendly. Colleen the owner is awesome.

I wouldn't recommend the sirloin steak hoagie. Some pieces of the meat were inedible.
While visiting my sister and her family camping nearby, my family and I decided to find a local restaurant after on-and-off rain throughout the afternoon changed our dinner plans. I didn’t know many restaurants in the area, but I chose Family Tradition Restaurant, a place I’ve passed countless times traveling along Route 8 but had never stopped to try before.
From the moment we walked in, we loved the welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was busy, we were able to comfortably seat our group of eight without feeling crowded. Our server was incredibly polite, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire meal.
One thing that really stood out was how quickly the food arrived, less than 15 minutes after ordering. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, including a few picky kids. The chicken noodle soup was a huge hit with the kids; they cleaned their bowls completely. My wife also tried the peanut butter pie and absolutely loved it.
We were extremely pleased with the entire experience and will definitely be stopping back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend giving Family Tradition Restaurant a try!

Absolutely amazing food, service, and homey atmosphere. Just be warned, the Alfredo portions are HUMONGOUS. Be prepared to have leftovers to take home!

Was in the mood for soup style food for the past couple days so they had a handful of selections I got their famous chili and chicken and dumplings. A bowl of each, ate the chicken and dumplings first and they were awesome but Wendy's has them beat on Chili it wasn't the best. For it to be famous. Oh yeah by the way I got a coconut cream pie and it was awesome
