Stopped there on the way home after dropping the youngest off at college. It has a down home atmosphere and cool decor. Our server Julie was fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. The menu is varied and we had breakfast. The portion sizes were very good with a reasonable price. Everything was cooked perfectly and quickly. We will be stopping again in the future. If you want great, no nonsense food don't hesitate to stop in.
Very disappointed. I'm there every Saturday with my sister who is challenged & has dementia. Just because I took her to the ladies room before paying the bill . ( all my belongings purse, phone etc left at table) a comment was made about walking out and not paying the bill. I watched a waitress (from the door of the hallway to the bathrooms) walk over to the booth and see my purse & still make a comment. No apologies when I said something. She walked away and nobody...
Great little family run place! We always look for these non commercial places. My hot roast beef sandwich was great! It was was Friday and they had an all you can eat fish special. Not sure how they stay in business based on number of times i saw plates getting replaced. Some people complain about extra charge for credit cards... this is a small family shop. That 3.5% that is robbed from them adds up... so be nice.
