Worst food I have ever eaten! Calamari was fishy! I had the crispy fish sandwich with fries. Fish was over cooked, and fries were cold! Also had buffalo chicken wrap, chicken was dry and cold fries! Food took an hour and twenty minutes to get! Too bad used to be a great spot to hang out!

Decided to try this place for Mother’s Day just for something different. Had a reservation at 3pm. Seated at table and offered drinks. Then 30 minutes went by with no server in sight. We asked and we’re told there was only one server. Why not maybe warn us before hand?!?! We had kids there that were hangry and had to hunt people down just for some bread. Finally received our entrees at 5pm. Absolutely unacceptable. For the price of the food, this place should be better than this. Definitely would not recommend.

Food was good, however I asked for bread with my dinner and got attitude. The waitress said didn’t someone ask you if you wanted it when you got your salads . I said no you took our order and that was the first and last time we saw you. She then when on to say well if you haven’t noticed we are short staffed I’m the only waitress, she was very very argumentative and very rude . (she was not the only waitress since the food runner asked who our waitress was ) she said she had a 20 top table and if we looked around we could see that . We were there about 2 hours so I think even being busy she could have checked on us. She blamed others saying they were suppose to be doing different task and helping . A simple sorry do you need anything right now would have done well.?Thankfully there was a food runner or I do not think we would ever gotten served . When we asked him for refills on drinks, cheese and a side of sauce he asked who our server was. He must have reminded her she had a table .Never did get the bread. She didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. Brought the check said she will stand there so we didn’t have to wait for her to come back . Grabbed it nasty came back and tossed it on the table . While I do understand staff shortages if was the pure rudeness. I was not mean or upset. I just thought bread came with dinner and I wanted a piece for the sauce . Last time we went the waitress forgot to put in our order and by the time we gave up waiting there was no other local food places open.

We wrote them off a while ago for slow service. Came back when someone gave us a few of the $25 coupons as a gift. We used them for takeout for their two for $25 Tuesday specials. This time we went in for dinner and sat down to eat and ordered the same meals we always do. This time, they would not take the coupon saying we couldn't use it with that special. I immediately said we have done this before and then the owner, who was sitting on her phone at the bar, yelled across the bar at us saying whoever let you use the coupons shouldn't have!I was appalled that she yelled at my wife and I across the bar in front of other customers. Appalled.That is not to mention that we had to wait for a server to come to us after sitting at our table for 20 minutes when we arrived, asked multiple times for drinks, for bread, for refills...etc.. while the owner sat at the bar on her phone.Same horrible service and management. I guess they want to lose the last few customers they had.

We have ordered from Damien's for several years since we moved to back mountain and loved our meals! Tonight was not one of those nights!! I generally don't leave bad reviews because I understand the industry is difficult these days. Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience this evening. Odered 2 dishes which we both asked for extra sauce which was not received. My husband called and was told to come pick up the extra sauce (seriously) he took both meals back because the pasta was definitely undercooked! granted he was given a full refund but it came without an apology or ask of how we can we make this right. I unfortunately find this very ignorant on the staff/managers who couldn't even try to make this right. please work on your customer service!

Husband and I live at the lake on the weekends and we visited Damien’s on Wednesday night before Thanksgiving only to see the Lance Thomas band. Had a reservation with 4 other people. We’ve stayed away from Damien’s for months now because of our and our friends past experiences but we thought we’d go to see the band and have some drinks and appetizers. Our waitress Brianna (Dani the bartender’s daughter) was horrible to us. We had some food which was burnt and tasteless. Our drinks had no discernible alcohol in them and when we tried to get our plates cleared from the table after about an hour our waitress just rolled her eyes at us. My first drink was a vodka and cranberry in a short glass. When I ordered my second (and last drink) I asked for the same drink but with an extra shot of vodka since I couldn’t taste any alcohol in the first drink. The waitress brought back my drink in a large tall glass which completely negated my extra shot of vodka since it now contained twice the amount of cranberry juice as well. When my husband mentioned that all of our drinks at the table seemed to lack enough alcohol our waitress snapped back at us “ I don’t make the drinks the bartender does”. When we asked for our check an hour before the band stopped playing our waitress brought one check for all six of us even though we had asked for three separate checks. She said she put it all on one bill and when we asked for separate checks she said “ I knew you guys would be a problem so that’s why I put it all on one check and added an 18% tip”. She also told us that she had tables of eight and 10 people and none of them complained about having their bill all on one check. So I guess if you question your drinks and ask for separate checks you’re considered a problem there. Plus you get to add an 18% tip and not actually have to provide good customer service in order to get it. When we started to argue about the bill she told us never to come back there again. When we said we wouldn’t she stated fine, we don’t know any of you anyway, even though one of the couples at our table had just been there two days earlier. LoL! I guess if they think they don’t know you they can treat you like crap. She then started cursing at us and we gave it right back. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to be harassed by a snot-nosed little brat after paying over $400 for crappy food and drinks and attitude from our server. The table next to us asked what happened and we explained and they said they were a table of four and the same waitress had put their bill all on one check and had also added an 18% gratuity without them knowing. Very shady to not mention this when first ordering. We didn’t want to speak to the owner, Damien, because we know from other people that he has a tendency to argue with anyone that disagrees with him and we didn’t feel like having yet another confrontation, we just wanted to get out as fast as possible. In speaking with friends of ours at other tables that night they pretty much had the same complaints with food, service, and drinks, so it wasn’t just us. It’s a shame that Damien sticks up for his staff when they are clearly in the wrong. A good owner/manager needs to listen to customers and strive to develop their staff. This clearly isn’t happening as many people around the lake are complaining about this place. We certainly won’t be going back ever again.
I was a little disappointed. I had the fettuccine Alfredo, and for $20, I thought it’d at least come with salad or bread - it didn’t. Turns out none of their pasta selections come with any sides. I should have asked, but I didn’t because almost every where you go, salad and/or bread always comes with pasta. My fiancé had the Delmonico steak with mashed pot and salad. He enjoyed it. It was a clean restaurant with a nice setting, and I will give it another try in the future.

Pretty cool place. It has an upstairs and downstairs. There are tables outside upstairs. Everything was clean and everyone was nice. View from upstairs was cool. The only thing I did not like about the place was the parking situation. The front lot has a big dip and the tail end nd of your car is almost out in the street, and the sides are pretty tight parking. But it's well worth it.

I had the honor of DJing Damien's first karaoke night tonight. The atmosphere was amazing. The staff was friendly, fast, and welcoming. We were having such a great time they asked me to stay an extra hour. The food was great, the drinks were strong, and I can't wait to be back!

Wasn’t really impressed with this place. Went for dinner with a few friends and family. Very high prices for food that isn’t up to par with the price. The steamed clams were good, but the grouper sandwich was so greasy and wasn’t the best flavor. The chicken Marsala was ok at best, my mother’s cheesesteak wrap had to be remade bc it wasn’t cooked right to start. The food was also very slow to come out, and it wasn’t a busy night. The ribs tasted like straight charcoal. On the plus side we had a very nice waitress and the view from the deck was very pretty.
