“Literally the best duck I’ve ever had! It was so amazing I went back the very next day and had it again. Seems excessive, but try it and you’ll understand. I was skeptical of the portions until the food came out and I ended up having to take home leftovers. The prices were great too. We got two cocktails, two very full entrees, an appetizer, and a dessert to take home for approximately $120. Not bad at all for a fine dining experience! I’ve recommended it to friends who have gone and loved it as well. Jonathan’s is a hidden gem and my new favorite place.”

“Our server was super, friendly and very attentive. We had fish and chips, meatball parm sub and a chicken tender basket. The fish was exceptionally good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I don’t understand the negativity, this is a lakeside pub and family friendly.”

“I went yesterday March 29,2024 at 5:20 pm with my son and girlfriend it was a Great experience. We chose one of the igloos it was really comfy and beautiful. The waitresses and bartenders were attentive and we really felt Welcome. “Authentic Mexican food — SO fresh! The salsa is amazing and there is a big variety of tacos prepared with traditional Mexican ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had several questions about some items on the menu I was unfamiliar with- I learned a lot! Portion sizes are very generous -including the $7 Happy Hour Margaritas, which are made with fresh squeezed lime juice. No mixers here! My husband’s comment when we first tasted our food: “they definitely don’t take short cuts here”. This is a great addition to downtown WB - can’t wait to go back!”

“This place is very good! I was told this place was Uruguayan and I was looking for some nice food in the area. I myself am from Uruguay and was curious to see if the meals would taste like authentic Uruguayan food. The quality of the food is pretty good, but I wouldn’t say all of the tapas resemble that Uruguayan flavor (such as the chorizo, which was pretty good, but definitely not Uruguayan flavor-wise). The milanesa, however, was extremely good, and close to what it would taste like in my country. But trust you can’t leave this place without getting dessert- I think the tiramisu could be my last meal on earth, no problem. I had the chance to speak to the chef as well, and she was very sweet! The place is small but cozy, has private parking, the service is great, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!”

“BMB is one of my favorite places, with the best brew masters around! Order a flight to try new beers, and the Mug Club is worth every penny. Oh, and don't leave without having the Triple Pickle!!! I also like that BMB supports other local businesses by having food trucks in their lot. The Smashburgers rock!”

“A unique experience for our region. I have never eaten at a Turkish themed restaurant before. Reservations made same day, although reservations were not necessary, plenty of room to be seated. Service was prompt. We had the hot sampler for appetizer. My wife had the Doner kebob and I had the Lamb shsh kabob. I enjoyed the tenderness and flavor of the Lamb. Baklava and Rice pudding rounded out a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed the Turkish Coffee to end the meal.”

“Went to Wilkes barre for a concert and was craving Mexican food. The location looks a little suspect coming from the outside, but going in everyone was friendly. Super authentic Mexican food, friendly staff, extensive menu and everything was delicious. Salsas were all very good, which is awesome considering you get free chips while waiting for your meal! If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be back.”

“There are no photos this time. Couldn't wait to dig in! We had the house burger and it was delicious. Cooked correctly with great flavor and toppings. Plus, we ordered the gyro, which was good. And for an appetizer, we ordered the steamed clams with melted butter. Cold beer and mixed drinks paired perfectly.Parking can be tight because they draw a good crowd. “This place will always hold a special place in my heart as it was where I proposed to my girlfriend. Every time since then we have had such a great experience. I believe it truly stems from the management. On every occasion, the manager has come out to check on our meals and just share some small talk. It always sets the tone for a very pleasant experience. The food is by far the best in the region. We had the steak and the roasted chicken during our last visit and it was truly delicious. The in house tiramisu and cocktails are also top notch. If you’re looking for an excellent dining experience with great staff this is your spot.”

You can call in your order to be ready ahead of time as well! Definitely recommend to everyone! ☺️Parking: It’s right across the street from a public bus stop and there are about two spaces for you to park in front of the building on the street but it is a very small building with limited parking. It would be better to take the public transport bus and get your food instead of driving.”
