Professional and friendly.
Great service and atmosphere. The view is always good on Harvey's Lake. But the pizza has been lackluster over the years. There are certainly better pizza spots in the area. I'm not saying my family and I will stop going to the Grotto on Harvey's Lake. But I will never go to another Grotto that's not on Harvey's Lake. The pizza being average and the other locations are in mostly terrible neighborhoods / areas.
You ruined the one and only food I liked from your resteraunt.. the meatball sub. Using pizza dough as bread and buns is not the smartest idea you all had. I can't believe you got that cheap.. Last time I was there your home made pizza dough bread sucked. Absolutely 0 flavor plain disgusting left over dough passed as bread and a bun our friends got appetizers and same thing plain no flavor pizza dough. The 5 of us will not be eating here any more which sucks I loved your subs....read full review

Based on the reviews, Grotto Pizza & the Grand Slam Sports Bar offers excellent service, with fast and thorough waitstaff and bartenders. The pizza and chicken Caesar wrap are great, and the wings are absolutely fantastic, with mild, great flavor and juicy meat. The blue cheese has nice chunks. The prices are a little high. There is a live musician playing guitar, and the cover songs are very tastefully done. The game room is off to the side of the enormous horseshoe bar. The whole experience is very nice and easy going. The staff is friendly, and the food comes relatively quick. There is an amazing view of the lake from the bar.
