“Actually came here as a second choice. Not from the immediate area, I only had been to a popular bar restaurant up the road. That place couldn't seat our party of 5. We came here. Seated immediately, server was friendly. Pizza and wings were great! The Checkerboard is now my first choice when I'm up this way.”

“Bad time all around. Shuffled though the dining room as tables werent prepared. Had us waiting between the kitchen run door and the bathrooms. We were literally in everyones way. They were out of what I ordered (crab cakes) didn't tell us until way after meal was put into kitchen. Food was not up to par. Charcuterie Board didnt have all that was supposed to be on it. Service was Meh. Server knew we were unhappy with meal and he didn't even bother to ask. Wall next to where we sat was disgustingly dirty. I would've never expected this from Fire and Ice but I know for a fact we will not return after last night's service and meal.”

“The pork chashu was very thinly sliced which I’m not used to but they had more slices than the usual ramen spots I went to in philly and NYC which had less slices but thicker slices. That was the only thing that was a tiny con but everything else was great! Get the gyoza!”

“We tried El Tikal tonight for takeout. We ordered online which was easy and customizable . We were able to put in special requests. Food was ready and hot on time. They were concerned about my election of no cilantro for one dish and went into detail about the sauces we chose for possible Containment of it. Very friendly staff! Great prices! I’m pretty much a Mexican cuisine connoisseur and this was top notch! Would love to try dine in/drinks in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Midway through a 2-week camping vacation from Illinois to Ontario, we decided to eat out the night before an early travel day. My husband is a home chef and pizza connoisseur who has been perfecting his pizza for over a decade. We went to AmberDonia in Kingston for a wood-fired pizza. THIS WAS THE BEST PIZZA WE'VE EVER HAD. We chose the classic Marguerite. The spare seasoning on the crushed tomatoes enhanced them while letting their flavor shine, and the house-made mozzarella was lovely. The thin yet sturdy crust had the perfect balance of crunch and chew and excellent flavor. Wish we lived here because we would eat here every week. We also split a delicious house salad and took home 2 desserts from the gorgeous array of bakery items to enjoy on the road tomorrow.”

“Just Discovered this place not to long ago and I was very happy with the experience when we got there it had a crow wish is a good sign that the place have good food.Great customer service! I ordered my food and they hand me a little device that will notify me when my food was ready it only took like 20 min considering it was busy this food truck it’s easy to find with plenty of parking the chinola / Parcha Juice and any of the chimis and the loaded fries with pierna meat are a must try I will be back ! They should bring a food truck to Scranton !”

“Since moving to the area in September I finally got around to trying the pizza here this last weekend and I can’t believe I waited so long. The pizza was delicious and the wing bites were great as well. Definitely recommend trying them!”

“The BEST SICILIAN PIZZA! Crave-worthy and only in NEPA. I buy a pan of it with onions and freeze leftovers. They bake up crispy and fresh at 350 degrees for 15-20 min. Available pre-frozen too, ask when ordering. Great to have on hand for late-night Netflix binges!”

“Vino’s makes a Reuben that puts all other Reubens to shame. Ever since trying it, all other Reubens fall short. It easily beats out KJ’s Pickle Barrel and Pierce St Deli and even tops another really good local Reuben made by Goldstein’s Deli. Miller’s Bar in Charlottesville, VA has a really good Reuben, supposedly made famous by Dave Matthews, but it still can’t hold a candle to Vino’s.

I’ve tried a lot of their other menu items and have never been disappointed, but I probably won’t get around to trying anything else because of how good their Reuben is.

Vino’s does tend to get really busy and, because of their size and the high demand for their food, they do tend to get backed up, especially during the lunch rush. So, you may need to call several times before you’ll get through, but it’s worth it.”
