“First off, it's important to note that Steel Penny does not allow customization of menu items. They're very rigid about substitutions or adjustments, which feels a bit off-putting and inflexible, especially for those who like to tweak their orders. That said, the Firenze sandwich was phenomenal. It comes with Burrata Cheese, Basil Pesto (nut-free), Arugula, Tomato, Balsamic Glaze, Sicilian EVOO, Salt, and Black Pepper, and you can choose between a chicken cutlet or Prosciutto di Parma. I went with the chicken cutlet, and it was an excellent choice. The rustic Italian bread roll was the perfect base, crusty yet soft enough to hold everything together. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and well balanced. I also tried the Rose Gold Detroit-Style Pizza, which was very good. The crust was thick but still light, and the vodka sauce was delicious. I added pepperoni, which definitely elevated the flavor. The only real downside was the size, it's only six small slices, and for $20, that feels overpriced. Lastly, I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte. I asked for it extra hot, but it came out just warm. The flavor was fine, but I would have enjoyed it much more if it had been served steaming hot as requested. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. I'd definitely go back for the chicken cutlet sandwiches as they're worth the trip. I'd hesitate to get another pizza at that price point, and I'd skip the latte next time.”

“Holy cow, I’ve lived around here my whole life and i cant believe noone has ever told me about this place! So i feel its my job to SCREAM at the top of my lungs about how amazing my experience was. Savannah is so bubbly , friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. I am so impressed with her ability to remember and recite the intricate details of all of the specials. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. We met the chef and he was just as sweet and as the hostess. This place is a real hidden gem, And im going to do my best to help unhide it!”

“Overall, I have nothing but great things to say. Most beers are solid. When they have the hand pump beer, they are usually excellent. They could use another bartender at times as it does get very busy on nice days. Overall, inexpensive beers at a good price.”

“My friend and I enjoyed a delicious meal. We couldn’t believe it was so tasty! we enjoyed the Reuben, crab cake sandwich and tomato lentil soup. We appreciated the biodegradable spoon but we wish it wasn’t so flat and was more of a scoop for the soup. Can’t wait to return!”

“Joined for the disc golf club. The course is great. The clubhouse is for all members so I get to meet Al types of people. Everyone is friendly, there are bar games, and the drinks are reasonably priced. You'll want to bring your own food since there is no kitchen.”

I come here around twice a month, and I always get take out - the pulled pork shoulder with the crispy skin on top (they got to use scissors to cut it), yellow rice, beans, and the spicy green salsa when they have it.
