“My wife and I had lunch there today I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had the chicken panni and French onion soup. The food was excellent the server Hailee was very good and very professional. She was also very friendly and very cute. If you are close to there definitely stop in.“

“Very clean, excellent and kind waitress n server, and the food was perfect. This is definitely my new favorite dinner. I find so many waitresses these day are so rude but at this place especially at the dinner down the street from here, but this place i felt that hospitality and kindness that is rare these days, I believe its run by a family another rare thing these days. I highly recommend this small home town dinner 👌“

“We had our semi-annual breakfast there once again. As usual, great food and service. We had Jessica and Courtney , our regular waitresses, they are great. All the guys love them. They handled 41 Sears TractorTrailer drivers - no problem. We’ll be back in six months (4/11/25). At the end some of us waited for this picture.“

“Excellent food, nice atmosphere with comfortable central A/C, friendly wait staff, and easy access to plenty of parking! Nice clean bathrooms too. The menu is large and best of all you get salad, bread, and one and two sides of vegetables included with many of the special. No A la carte bologna!😚“

“Came in for lunch and had a lovely visit. My coffee was served in my own individual carafe, which was a very nice touch. I was assured that if I finished the whole carafe, which held about 3 mugs full, refilling it would be included in the price.
For food, we started with the chicken gumbo which was only okay; there was no roux so it was more like chicken and rice soup with a little bit of Cajun seasoning. Then we had a Reuben, which was decent and a chicken Parm grinder that was a little disappointing due to a cheap and soggy hoagie roll. Both came with a generous portion of fries.
We'll certainly be back, but we'll probably order from the breakfast side of the menu next time.“

“I haven’t been to a diner in a while (since COVID closures) and tonight (September 15, 2023) I had a chance to get out to Suburban Diner for dinner. It was such a nice time to just sit in public and eat with friends. This diner is definitely a perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy my meal in comfort.“

“It's home away from home. They offer a wide variety of different meals to choose from. By now we are regulars and our waitress knows what we want each time. Coszy mom and pops place. And their prices are crazy affordable and they don't sacrifice serving size.“

“There are 3 Foundational Black Americans working in John's Diner, and I'm telling you, if it wasn't for those 3 pros, John's Diner would be out of business. When I tell you the food is delicious and has that clean taste of old fashioned diner food. You know I'm impressed. Big ups, too, those 3 workers. ? ? ?“

“Matzo ball soup is the best I've ever had. I only eat it from here! The open face turkey platter is so delicious I always get it from here. This is me and my mother's lunch date every time we go shopping or doctors appt we stop here to eat!“
