One of my favorite coffee shops of the Philly suburbs. It's a tucked away gem that never ceases to delight. Always a vibrant and energizing space with changing menu items and artwork.

Confident saying - anything positive you've read/heard about Green Engine is probably 100% legit. Drinks and pasteries are fantastic. Service is always very good. Been here many times. I'd recommend: hot vanilla latte & a toasted bagel with cashew butter. Sometimes it's hard to find seating...but that's because the place is justifiably popular.

The best London fog I think I've ever had. And my croissant was delicious! Atmosphere is nice, very clean and fresh. Staff are friendly. Place is seemingly packed and I almost wasn't able to find a place to study at but thankfully I snagged a table. Great place for studying or working. They have WiFi and charging outlets. I will give a warning that the outlets are on the floor and not on the side of a wall so there is a bit of a tripping hazard there but just keep an eye out and you'll be good. I can see why it's on the 'best of the main line' lists

We were only in Ardmore for 3 days and here for breakfast twice. Very crowded during the week. But we thought it was really good. Great atmosphere. Avocado toast and salmon bagel really tasty and well topped. Coffee good too. The only point of criticism is that there are plastic cutlery. Doesn't work for me at all...Please change ?

I met someone for an early morning business meeting over coffee and loved this little gem. Bright and cozy, right off of Lancaster Ave in Haverford. It was my first time there, and it's now a go-to going forward. I was being good, so didn't sample the tasty looking pastries but will next time. There were some amazing sounding coffee confections on offer and the person I was meeting is a real coffee affictionado and this is his go-to spot. Me, I have coffee only once a week (I decided today was the day). I'm not fancy with my coffee and I usually order it this way: "Coffee, room for cream". And that's exactly what they gave me, lol, and I was happy ?!

I loved green engine ever since they opened their doors many moons ago. My only small complaint is how expensive they have gotten. I know that’s inflation and happening everywhere but still hurts my soul a little. Coffee is good and pastries are usually pretty good. There are a few times where the pastries didn’t taste super fresh or (personal opinion) flavor combo wasn’t what I expected. But paying 13 dollars for pastry and latte is painful.Pro tip- always buy Any herb and fruit scone - yo where those blueberry and thyme scones come in?!?

Coffee is great! Food tastes great! Slowest kitchen ever. I was in a hurry, but didn't want a pastry, so I ordered a quiche. Apparently it takes over 10 mins to slice, package, and hand me a piece of quiche?I understand there is an order to the kitchen, but come on. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it.If you are in a hurry, don't order anything from the kitchen, unless you plan to wait a long time.

Went to Green Engine Coffee Company this morning. The atmosphere is busy and beautiful. The espresso, however, was very weak. I ordered a honey bee latte and a mocha. Both were sweet and milky but they lacked the coffee flavor I was expecting. Either the espresso wasn’t added or it’s generally not a strong espresso flavor. I might give it a second try just in case this was an error but it wouldn’t be a regular stop for us.

Coffee and food met my expectations which correlated with the location, aesthetic and prices.Once the coffee shop was full the auditory atmosphere became somewhat unpleasant, I’d recommend they look into passive noise dampening materials for walls and/or ceiling.WiFi was available without a password, be mindful of how and why you connect to it.

I enjoyed the vibe of this cafe very much. I ordered a latte, avocado toast, and some Danish pastries. The coffee quality was excellent, and the pastries were so good that I bought some more to take home. The service was also courteous, and I felt like I should have brought a book to read here for a while so that I could hang out here a little longer.

I’ve been to green engine numerous times and have never had a bad experience there. Coffee is the best in Ardmore, maybe even the surrounding city and suburbs. The kickstarter is one of the best breakfast sandwiches that not many people know about. You must experience this cafe I feel like they’re the best kept secret. Oh and their pastries are always good.

I enjoy my coffee each morning but have not been able to get a good cup of coffee here several times in a row. The coffee and cream tastes like watered down cream. Needless to say, bad way to start my day hence the 1 star which is well deserved for a coffee shop. I realize that places are cutting back but come on, add another scoop or 2 to your extraction process.Vegetarian options: Granola, pastries, etc
