I ordered a green tea cloud cake to celebrate my friend’s 90 year old birthday. This is a very serious event to me so I went personally to the shop near Great Neck LIRR three days in advance, chose my favorable cake, fully paid, and watched the guy who took my order clearly wrote on the order chit that the cake would be collected 10-11am today. I went this morning, to my enormous surprise, they told me the cake had not been made because the order form was still in the drawer, not yet go into the kitchen!! WHAT A ⋯⋯!The young guy, according to them a part-timer, was not there this morning, but the one who had supervised, a middle aged woman, was there. She was awful, shredding all liability to the part-timer, offered no options and not even an apology. I could not find a similar cake in the fridge and had to pick anyone available and go! I will never ever go back to that Great Neck shop again! I also told all my friends in the birthday party not to go!
Beautiful bakery goods. Has a cute vibe but very uncomfortable setting. Happened to be there during winter and there was practically no heat - very uncomfortable to sit in a cafe that’s cold. Uncomfortable seats. My hot matcha latte which was already served lukewarm got cold within 7 minutes. Couldn’t really enjoy it. The croissant sandwich was excellent. It’s a popular spot lot of people drop by and pickup. There is a wide variety of sweet and savory items. I wanted to try so many things. They have free WiFi. Also seems to have a parking on the side for pickup.

Their software doesn’t accept your email. You have No ability to earn points. No one responds when you send a message asking for help setting up your account. No live customer service available. Don’t waste your time trying to sign up for points. I’d include screen shots but Tous doesn’t allow a paste.
Great little cafe! It’s sets itself outside of the other cafes in the neighborhood by being a French-Korean inspired cafe. It uses some traditional Asian elements such as taro, match, and mochi. The Honey Cream Cheese Mochi Pancakes are my favorite. Got to get there early! They have great macarons too. Iced Taro Latte and Matcha Espresso are my favorite unique to them drinks. The cloud cakes are uniquely delicious!!
Got the mango cloud cake for my daughter's birthday as she had been asking for one. We enjoyed it!
I’d encourage you to go here and try something new or enjoy an old favorite! Parking is difficult at times but you can go up the street to the Septa lot or park on Berkeley Rd.

I ordered a blueberry yogurt cake which was supposed to contain a blueberry sponge cake, but instead I received a plain vanilla cake with merely some blueberry topping, not at all what I ordered. I contacted the store and they refuse to admit fault, instead insisting that the cake is "correct" and blaming me for not expecting a vanilla cake and not being happy with what I got (despite the website very clearly showing an actual blueberry cake). Very rude attitude in refusing to acknowledge the error on their end and refusing to do anything about it, blaming the customer instead.

Great pastries especially the chestnut chunk cream bread which I buy every single time. The other breads are the highlight. The pastries are great but I often get a sweet bread instead. Coffee espresso based drinks are good but made via a machine and a bit overpriced for what it is though their Macha and other drinks can be awesome.
Pro tip if doing takeout — Green Engine is across the way and the combo of their pastry and bread with Green Engine coffee is a spectacular plan if you have time for two stops when getting your caffeine to go.

TLJ has some of the best pastries I've ever had. There is a lot of variety to satisfy your cravings. I can't believe they are a chain because the pastries are perfect. I had a cream doughnut with a caramel macchiato. I also like the spinach pastry when I'm in a savory mood. You really can't go wrong with the choices.

It was too expensive for what you got. The presentation is beautiful.

tasted good
Pastries are decent. This review is mostly for the service. I’ve been to a number of Asian- found bakeries and usually have a great experience with TLJ. But I was just so confused by today’s experience:
1) There was an elderly gentleman who wanted to get another coffee after eating there. The male Asian staff there frowned at him and you could tell he was judging the man for only buying a cup of coffee to stay there. It was only after the elderly man had to explain to the staff that he had already eaten and wanted another cup did the staff’s face lighten up a bit. What’s wrong with buying a cup of coffee?
2) you know how when you buy different pastries, they’re supposed to put it in separate bags in case the breads touch each other, etc? The same staff ruthlessly just shoved all the bread into the same bag. I was so confused.
3) my mother saw a pastry that they sell by the counter and asked if jt was pound cake. I kid you not, he just yelled at her saying aggressively “it’s cheesecake!”
Not sure if this guy was having a bad day. Coming from the industry, I get that being in the service industry means having some terrible customers come in occasionally. But that should never taint the way you treat customers.

We were so excited about the opening of this bakery. However, we are disappointed at the service. The staff was snobby having an attitude toward a customer ordering a cup of coffee. The payment process felt rushed and the bread was thrown into the paper bag without proper packaging. We won’t visit again.
