Momoyama Ramen & Hawaiian BBQ II

My daughter and I stopped here after baking to see if they had gluten free noodles (they do have rice noodles but the online menu isn't gluten-friendly)

Glad we did because we both really enjoyed our meals... Then a storm knocked out the electricity! Tables were still coming in and they were serving everyone, telling us to come back and pay when the electricity was on. That's what I love about Havertown - they treat everyone like family.

Needless to say I got cash and paid - but we'll be back soon!

Amazing chicken bbq!

I visited this restaurant yesterday on my own and had a truly enjoyable experience. I ordered the pork buns, which were exceptionally flavorful—so much so that they didn’t require any additional sauce, which is rare for me. I also tried the spicy miso ramen. The waiter was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the customization of my bowl, as I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted, and the end result was fantastic.

The customer service stood out as well—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about both the food and the overall dining experience. It’s evident that the team takes great pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be returning.

Had a wonderful time at Momoyama!! The ramen did NOT disappoint!! 😍 After just one visit, I firmly believe that literally ANYTHING off this menu would be amazing!! Met Don, the owner, and he has lent his incredible recipes to tje public, and they are absolutely 💯 incredible!! We had the rib eye ramen and the Hawaiian bbq mix of chicken and short rib, and WOW, it was a hit!! Even the mac salad, which I dont normally like, was perfect!! I highly recommend trying this spot!! You can't go wrong!!

This is a REAL Ramen house with barbecue! The taste is amazing. Also, this is one of the few places where you can actually get Takoyaki. It's BYOB so, if you want the authentic experience, bring your own sake. If more people knew how good this food is, this place would be packed all day. As of now, get over here and try for yourself while this place is relatively unknown still and you don't need a reservation. The house Ramen was delicious but the ribeye was put of this world amazing!

We ordered takeout; the person was extremely helpful, everything was packaged perfectly for travel, and things were labeled to help us decipher. The food was delicious too!

Rude waitress. We came in. She looked angry. She was nice enough to greet us but when I asked to sit bear the nice window she said "whatever" then kept looking away the whole time. Unfortunate behavior.

Doc loves Momoyama!! Momoyama is an excellent neighborhood restaurant and my new go to place for all things Ramen! The food is amazing and service was great too. Also, the wait staff does not rush you and enjoys you taking a leisurely dinner. Great decor and atmosphere! I highly recommend.

had the ribeye ramen. It really was much higher quality steak than youd expect to be put in a soup! (not complaining) big portions. very nice staff. will repeat.
