Sam's Boardwalk Style Pizza & Dairy Bar

Used to love this place but a few weeks ago we placed the order online, paid, got a text says it was confirmed and another when ready. When we went to get it, door was locked and no one was there. Multiple people were also outside waiting. Called the restaurant a few times over the past few weeks and has not had any response. Finally just disputed it with my credit card.

This place used to be amazing but they’ve gone down hill in the last year. Not sure if there is new ownership but both the quality control and service have been awful for a while. They consistently have issues with their ordering system and claim they didn’t get orders when you arrive to pick them up. I’ve been given rancid blue cheese with my wings. I’ve had orders cancelled after I waited 45 minutes. It’s so sad because this place was our guarantee every Friday night pizza place and now I won’t go back ever again.

Very horrible experience. I ordered an online pick up through DoorDash earlier today and when I went to pick up my order, that I already payed for, there was nobody inside.I even got a message saying my order was ready but when I went to the location (the correct location by the way) there was nobody inside, the lights were on, the electronics were on, and the door was locked. Me and my little brother stood there for 15 minutes because we just assumed the workers were busy. Online it said the restaurant was open and when we called DoorDash for the refund they confirmed that in order for the “food is ready” message to send, the restaurant has to confirm it. Very strange

The food is always delicious and the owner is an absolute stud. I highly recommend for parties or individual orders. The pizze is amazing and the staff is always top notch! I highly recommend!

Called their store because it said they were open online. Called twice and no one answered. My boyfriend drove past and they were closed. Says 1030pm but closed….yeah last time I try to ever try food from there. Thought having pizza shop next street over would be so convenient. Yeah guess not

I ordered from this spot for the very first time. Specifically, the plain Stromboli, Old Bay wings, boardwalk fries and the loaded salad. Everything was great. The marinara sauce is crazy🔥🔥🔥🔥. Zero complaints and I am now a returning customer.

Pizza didn't have flavor. Needs more sauce and cheese. The price is good. Box pizza has more flavor.

Wildly mediocre. I’ve gotten pizza in the past that was really good. Was very disappointed in our other selections tonight though. Service was fast, but that’s where the positives stopped. My pizza steak was fine. Not the best I’ve ever had, but fine. The cheeseburger I ordered with lettuce and onions came without cheese and had an onion ring on it. The cup of cheese sauce for our fries was actually honey mustard. The chicken tenders were dry. And the fries were soggy. Overall not the worst experience of ver, but I won’t be ordering anything other than pizza from them again.

The food is delicious. Everything they make is five stars.

My only complaint is they overpromise on there pick up time. For example, they will say it will be ready in 30 minutes but when I show up, it was actually ready 15 minutes ago ago, so I end up with a boardwalk pizza that is cold by the time i gets home. My feedback to them: be more precise with their pick up time. What I’ve done to combat it is drive over to pick up the pizza as soon as I make the phone call even if I’m waiting for a few moments. Nothing beats driving home with piping hot food.
