We enjoyed it but service was slow, was seated and sat there for almost half hour before our waitress came and asked us for drunk ordered maybe should of had another server on hand. Just a suggestion

We chose the Settlers in for a place to dine in celebration of our anniversary. The Settlers Inn was highly recommended by a friend of mine. We arrived for an early dinner. The atmosphere was quaint the attention of the staff to our needs was superior to most places. The food was amazing! We give the chef our compliments. In short if you are looking for a dinning experience with charm, here is the place.

Settlers Inn, Hawley, PA. 2024: The night my partner and I went it was a special Jazz Night, with a wonderful Jazz Band playing (do not know their name). There was a prefix menu just for that event. We're from Queens, NY, so we have attitude and can be hard to please (sorry to admit, but being honest). I LOVED MY EVENING THERE. The woman attending to us checked my coat in, and the evening began. The menu was not overly extensive, so it was easy to narrow down and pick what we wanted. The decor (we sat in the main dining room) gave me the feeling that I was in an elegantly rustic world, a bit from the past. Exactly what we wanted based on the exterior of the Inn. The food was delicious and innovative. The portion was not too much, not too little. Looking forward to going back.

We were treated immediately and we're acknowledged about our anniversary and request to be seated by the fireplace. The server created us and also wished us a happy anniversary. The food was delicious, but took a little longer than expected.

What an outstanding valentine's day dinner experience!! This rivaled the best dinners we have experienced in the Philadelphia restaurants. The ambiance was spectacular and the service outstanding!! This was truly one of the best dining experiences we have had!!!

We love the Settlers Inn and the food is for the most part delicious and innovative. Our meal on Valentines Day was not as wonderful as past meals and the main reason was that my duck was nearly raw. The server offered to take it back to cook it more but I did not want to have my husband wait to eat his meal so I took it home and cooked it more for another meal. Other than that, it was quite good.

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque countryside, Settler's Inn stands as a beacon of warmth and tranquility. My recent experience at Settler's Inn on Valentine's Day was nothing short of magical, leaving me utterly captivated by its charm and romance. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were enveloped in a welcoming embrace of hospitality. The crackling fireplace cast a soft, golden glow across the room, igniting a sense of intimacy and coziness that instantly set the stage for a truly unforgettable evening. The ambiance was nothing short of enchanting, with every corner exuding an air of romance and sophistication. Soft candlelight danced across the tables, casting a romantic spell upon the entire space. The warm, inviting décor and rustic elegance of the surroundings only added to the enchantment, creating an atmosphere that was both timeless and enchanting. But what truly set Settler's Inn apart was its impeccable attention to detail and unwavering commitment to creating an ultra-romantic experience. From the special Menu to the soothing melodies of live music that filled the air, every element was carefully curated to evoke a sense of passion and romance. The staff at Settler's Inn were not just attentive, but genuinely warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure that every moment of our evening was absolutely perfect. Their genuine hospitality added an extra layer of warmth to the already inviting atmosphere, making us feel like cherished guests in their home. As we savored each exquisite bite of the delicious cuisine and lost ourselves in the enchanting ambiance, it became clear that Settler's Inn was more than just a restaurant – it was a sanctuary for romance, a place where love blossomed and memories were made. Settler's Inn exceeded all expectations, delivering a Valentine's Day experience that was nothing short of magical. From the warm environment and crackling fireplace.

I was disappointed in my Settler's dining experience on Saturday., February 10th. I felt bad for anyone who was engaged in an early romantic, Valentine's dinner. The atmosphere was noisy, loud and raucous. I was not impressed with my overpriced salmon entree, as it was mushy. The pasta and veggies that our table ordered were undercooked and our appetizer, chestnut mushroom crepes, was pretty tasteless and a letdown. I have always adored Settler's; the food USED TO BE delicious. Please consider hiring a skilled chef, not just one that is at best, adequate. The English toffee pudding, however, was reliably delicious.

The food was good but not great. Salmon a bit overdone. Carrots too firm. Key lime pie so strong with lie flavor it tasted chemical-like. The appetizer (baked brie) was VERY small, had no cranberry as advertised. Despite this, the experience was really nice. The overall flavor of the the entree was delicious, the chef's appetizer sample was too, and the cheesecake would've been perfect if not so strong flavored.

The service and food were excellent although expensive for the amount served. The service was excellent. The room was drafty; when the menu states “Fireside” I expected it to be more cosy.

Arrived to find out it was Fireside dining...and warm welcome and wishes for our Anniversary dinner! Delightful staff, most professional and courteous. Menu selections were wonderful which made choices challenging..yet each selection and course a culinary marvel both in taste and presentation! A warm, fireplace and great cocktails and superb Wine list made this a memorable event. Thank you All for this awesome evening.

The food was very good. Menu selection was limited for brunch and the menu on the website was not updated. It was nice and quiet and I enjoyed myself. The staff were largely new, but were friendly.

Went for New Years Eve. 5.30 seating The risotto wasnt cooked enough. We seemed rushed in between courses. We have eaten there before and has been wonderful. Perhaps the $85 price per person was the deciding downfall this time. There was suppose to be a guitar player and had piano instead.
