“It has been a long while since I have been so driven as to write a review for a Hawley restaurant. The place speaks for itself.... for a restaurant with very little parking , you will find it FULL with reservations required. We have eaten there several times on a Thursday night during the early bird special menu and I highly recommend it . On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 14. I was referred to the Ridge and have in turn referred many others. A smaller , very comfortable place with 100 year old victorian architecture and some of the best food and broad selection of entrees that I have experienced anywhere in a long time.”

Publishing fixed prices with the way the cost of food goods are fluctuating like gas prices is a huge waste of time and money for small business! A small business owner who usually doesn't have enough time in the day as it is, should simply adopt the concept. It probably saves a ton of money and time, I get it, I applaud the notion! “Driving through the area and stopped here because we saw the cool purple building and there was ample parking. Didn’t know what to expect but the food was all so good and home cooked. Gyro salad, turkey salad, bbq chicken salad and the turkey club were all so great! French onion soup was also excellent on a cold day. Everything was fresh and delicious!”

“I use to live in Hawley pat's bar was my favorite place to relax and have a good time. I'm sure it's still a great place to go to relax and enjoy a cold drink in a outstanding atmosphere with friendly people. I miss them so much.

“Great little food joint. Small but personal. Breakfast tasted GREAT even though the cheesesteak omelette was made with roast beef. Only “real” complaint was the server. Asked for a glass of water….. I’m still waiting. And extra butter means more than one. But I would have been happy with getting just one. And seriously, with the napkins with That much food ?? Like I said, good food. I’ll be back. I’ll just have to speak slower”

“Dairy Twist is less an ice cream shop and more a temple of frozen excess, a cathedral where the faithful come not to worship but to drown in sugar and cream. The very notion of a “single scoop” here is an affront to the dictionary: what they present could nourish an expeditionary force crossing the Sahara.

To order one cone per person, as we did, is to underestimate the sheer ambition of this establishment. Each serving arrives like a geological marvel, a glacial formation sculpted by the gods of dairy. My friend Jim, poor soul, received his portion in what can only be described as a Chipotle-sized bowl, though unlike burritos, this vessel overflowed with a volcano of brownies and soft-serve ice cream cascading in avalanches of chocolate.

We laughed, we despaired, and then we did what any mortals faced with Olympus-sized desserts must do: we shared, we surrendered, and we reveled in the sweet delirium. It was an indulgence so excessive that one risks either brain freeze or a diabetic trance, yet every spoonful sang of joy.

If ever you wish to taste the sublime absurdity of abundance, Dairy Twist awaits. Enter with courage, bring friends, and abandon moderation at the door.”

“Not atmospheric but amazing food, fresh and fast. Very nice, helpful service and info about dish ingredients and that they could be changed or left out. Delicious. Not cheap but lots of food in the container made 2 hearty meals. Would recommend and will gp
go back- picked up/waited took home to eat. Forget name of dish but pasta chopped tomatoes not red sauce and spinach left out with chicken and my friend had similar but left in spinach and hers had vodka sauce and she loved hers and plenty of food in the dish.”

“Beautiful rustic place that is part of the Ledges hotel in Hawley PA. It’s nestled down in behind the Silk Mill complex off Route 6. It’s git a great selection of small plates (tapas) and larger shareable dishes. Great patio seating and additional outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the view of the waterfall. Food and drinks were great. Definitely a gem 💎!”
