“It has been a long while since I have been so driven as to write a review for a Hawley restaurant. The place speaks for itself.... for a restaurant with very little parking , you will find it FULL with reservations required. We have eaten there several times on a Thursday night during the early bird special menu and I highly recommend it . On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 14. I was referred to the Ridge and have in turn referred many others. A smaller , very comfortable place with 100 year old victorian architecture and some of the best food and broad selection of entrees that I have experienced anywhere in a long time.”

Not conventional but maybe everyone should follow suit here. This is something I experienced in Florence by the way. so if the quality is there, then quit your whining, and LOOSEN UP I say! Publishing fixed prices with the way the cost of food goods are fluctuating like gas prices is a huge waste of time and money for small business! A small business owner who usually doesn't have enough time in the day as it is, should simply adopt the concept. It probably saves a ton of money and time, I get it, I applaud the notion! Everything was wonderful!”

“I loved this ice cream shop! The ice cream was so creamy, smooth, and delicious. There were lots of great flavors, and it was honestly hard to choose just one! The shop was small
And only outside seating . A perfect place to stop for a sweet treat, especially on a hot day. Definitely worth a visit!”

“Had my first Gelati at Rita’s in Hawley, PA today and it was so good! (Mine had a sour blue octopus on top!) Staff was lovely, especially when I dropped my whole cup IMMEDIATELY after they handed it to me 🤦‍♀. They were very kind and made me a new one, which I handled much more carefully. I’m already thinking about what I’ll order next time!”

It was a bit pricey. I thought. The portion was okay.
The service got a 3 because I called ahead to be able to pick my order.
When I arrived the lady answered the phone before greeting me. And had me wait standing there while she took a 5 minute phone order.
If I am there in person she could have placed them on a brief hold and given me my food and charge me so I could be on my way.”

“China House in Hawley serves up delicious, fresh Chinese takeout. They nailed my order exactly as requested, paying great attention to detail. The only downside is that they are strictly cash-only. It’s a bit inconvenient in a digital world, so I really wish they’d accept cards or mobile payments. That said, the food is fantastic.”

Our server, Xavier, was so friendly and made great suggestions. (He didn’t judge us for ordering so many small plates). :-)”
