“It has been a long while since I have been so driven as to write a review for a Hawley restaurant. The place speaks for itself.... for a restaurant with very little parking , you will find it FULL with reservations required. We have eaten there several times on a Thursday night during the early bird special menu and I highly recommend it . On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 14. I was referred to the Ridge and have in turn referred many others. A smaller , very comfortable place with 100 year old victorian architecture and some of the best food and broad selection of entrees that I have experienced anywhere in a long time.”

“Sandwiches are sold by the pound, our you NUTS? So your saying my guarantee is I'll NEVER get ripped off and I can order it heavy or light? I like this idea. Not conventional but maybe everyone should follow suit here. This is something I experienced in Florence by the way. so if the quality is there, then quit your whining, and LOOSEN UP I say! Publishing fixed prices with the way the cost of food goods are fluctuating like gas prices is a huge waste of time and money for small business! A small business owner who usually doesn't have enough time in the day as it is, should simply adopt the concept. It probably saves a ton of money and time, I get it, I applaud the notion! Everything was wonderful!”

“The name says it all. This place makes everyone feel at home. Simple menu and bar service was excellent. Our waiter was spot on with our drink and food orders.”

“The food was pretty basic and the service was slower than expected. We asked if we could sit outside and were told there was no outdoor seating, but the entire patio was empty the whole time. That was honestly disappointing, especially since it was such a nice day. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to.”

“Rita's has high-quality custard, served up in a friendly environment. Feel free to ask for samples before you settle on a flavor. My favorite is the creamy chocolate & vanilla and the orange custard. The service is great, and prices are reasonable and competitive with similar vendors. I'll go to them 100% of the time over the other guys!”

“This is a small, neighborhood bar with a single grill behind the bar. Serves burgers (excellent), dogs, grilled onions. Potato chips.No fries with that😆
Has its own neighborhood vibe.

“Our first time trying this place. While this would be easy to miss driving by the menu is surprisingly diverse. The main dishes of special beef and the shrimp, chicken and beef and garlic sauce were well seasoned, unique in flavor and well spiced and delicious. The boneless spareribs also nice smoky flavor. The hot and sour soup was a pass as the broth lacked any traditional rich flavor and was overly thickened. The place is primary take out, with only a couple small tables. They are cash or check only.”
