We had an amazing experience on our first visit this week! The flatbread was delicious and the cheesecake with peaches & hoy honey= AMAZING! But the best part of all were the friendly servers!
Stopped in with a service dog and we weren't in there 30 seconds and the owner was questioning us about our service dog. Dog clearly hes a service dog vest on and never approached anyone. Owner made it clear that he wasn't happy about the dog being in there and definitely made us feel unwelcome. His girlfriend Karen then asked us for a card for him being a service dog. We went to Forest Edge tonight and had an outstanding meal.
From the moment the fresh bread hit the table, you could tell this wasn’t average. Everything was prepared with care. The seafood was cooked perfectly — not overdone, not rushed — just right. Even something simple like the kids’ butter pasta had that extra touch that made it better than expected.

Forest Edge provides an amazing experience. The atmosphere is warm and lively but not too loud. The food is excellent, with dishes such as the flatbread, cheesecake with peaches & hoy honey, steak, green beans, and focaccia bread being delicious. The French Onion soup and heritage pork chop are also highly praised. The seafood is cooked perfectly and the kids' butter pasta has an extra touch. The mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus are homemade and cooked just right. The servers are friendly and the staff works well as a team. The manager/hostess checks in to take care of customers when the staff is busy. Forest Edge easily holds its own compared to other good spots, providing a five-star experience in quality and execution. The fresh bread, homemade croutons, and large homemade croutons in the French Onion soup show that everything is prepared with care. Highly recommend, definitely call ahead.
