“It has been a long while since I have been so driven as to write a review for a Hawley restaurant. The place speaks for itself.... for a restaurant with very little parking , you will find it FULL with reservations required. We have eaten there several times on a Thursday night during the early bird special menu and I highly recommend it . On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 14. I was referred to the Ridge and have in turn referred many others. A smaller , very comfortable place with 100 year old victorian architecture and some of the best food and broad selection of entrees that I have experienced anywhere in a long time.”

“Roadside catered our wedding at The Venue at Carley Brook and the food and service was outstanding! Our guests raved about the cocktail hour appetizers and the dinner. The service during the cocktail hour was especially great as there were always options being passed out by staff. Coordination was a breeze and the prices were reasonable. We will be stopping by the restaurant for some more food this summer!”

“The staff here are so lovely, and the pierogies were fantastic! We tried the wild mushroom and the potato cheddar, and couldn't decide which we liked more since both had such wonderful flavor. “Wow! I can’t say enough about how good breakfast just was! We started with fresh really hot coffee. My friend had the creamed chipped beef which he said was delicious. I had eggs which were cooked just right, yummy hot home fries and crispy bacon. The toast was even toasted to perfection and the bacon just the way I like it, crispy! Not conventional but maybe everyone should follow suit here. This is something I experienced in Florence by the way. so if the quality is there, then quit your whining, and LOOSEN UP I say! Publishing fixed prices with the way the cost of food goods are fluctuating like gas prices is a huge waste of time and money for small business! A small business owner who usually doesn't have enough time in the day as it is, should simply adopt the concept. It probably saves a ton of money and time, I get it, I applaud the notion! “This is a small, neighborhood bar with a single grill behind the bar. Serves burgers (excellent), dogs, grilled onions. Potato chips.No fries with that😆
Has its own neighborhood vibe.
We LOVED it. Reminded us of our uncles stopping in for a swift pint on their way home from their hard jobs.”
