“Back on 2012 I would to go to John’s every Monday night for All you can eat pasta with my late husband and 4-6 other family members dept who was at our house or available. Going there wasn’t the same without him and they were so kind as to send a tray of pasta and a tray of meatballs at that terrible time but I went sporadically. Well today Nov13 2024 my new husbands and I were in the area and went to John’s. It was nice to be there and the food was sooooo good like it was back then and the service was as it always was Great! I was so glad we went. there were a lot of new faces. But I did ask for Michelle and heard she is there yet. Keep it up John’s. (Ezra and Anthony wouldn’t remember me but Adrianna would I hope to get there again soon!!”

“Yo Po is arguably the best Chinese place I’ve found around here in terms of balancing price and quality. $8 after tax for this lunch special is a bargain—undercutting the cost of most McDonalds meals while being way healthier. Their fried rice and lo mein are top contenders compared to all other Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in NEPA.

Being a North Pocono graduate, I’ve eaten from here for years and their food has always been consistently good. When I moved to Scranton I really started to miss it. Now that I work at the Verizon store in the same plaza, I’ve been grabbing lunch from here at least once a week. Cannot recommend this place enough.”

“My husband I stopped here for a late lunch after a long drive. What a find! The hot soup (French Onion for the hubs and Ham/Bean for me) was perfect on a cold, rainy day. We then split two toasted sandwiches (Egg salad and a grilled cheese) as well as sweet potato fries. Crisp & tasty. Wonderful service too. Would definitely recommend this local gem! :)”

“First visit today. Just a fun, friendly place in a great outdoor setting…like a seashore beach bar somehow got transported “up the mountains.” Only had time to try the porter but it was very good. Looking forward to returning and trying a few other beers.”

“The most incredible experience! I cannot recommend The Jam Room enough. We had our 10-year high school reunion here this past weekend, and it was the perfect venue. The service was spectacular—Steven, our bartender, was absolutely amazing. He was outgoing, friendly, and made sure everyone had exactly what they needed. Tara was also fantastic, helping with everything from setup to making sure the night went smoothly. When I arrived, the food was ready, and they even had balloons in our school colors set up for us. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They truly helped with EVERYTHING, making our night unforgettable.”

“Super service from Robin. The food is authentic, rich and plenteous. Loved having dessert served up front (cinnamon roll with thick sweet icing/cream on top)—oh my! Small, but down-home cozy inside. The two girls at the front were great to give advice on the delicious, homemade desserts behind the glass. I’m not an Italian fan (hubby is), but this, this stuff is goood! A 5 star rating is rare for us.”
