“Roadside catered our wedding at The Venue at Carley Brook and the food and service was outstanding! Our guests raved about the cocktail hour appetizers and the dinner. The service during the cocktail hour was especially great as there were always options being passed out by staff. Coordination was a breeze and the prices were reasonable. We will be stopping by the restaurant for some more food this summer!”

“My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at The French Manor. The food served for breakfast and dinner was excellent. The view from the top of the hill is really scenic. The staff were kind and helpful. We stayed in the Venice room. It was nicely decorated, but the bathroom would benefit from some updates with the plumbing (water can be forceful at times since it is well water). I would recommend staying in the spa suites as they looked more modern. The spa was very relaxing, and all guests have free access to the sauna and saltwater pool.”

“Wow! I can’t say enough about how good breakfast just was! We started with fresh really hot coffee. My friend had the creamed chipped beef which he said was delicious. I had eggs which were cooked just right, yummy hot home fries and crispy bacon. The toast was even toasted to perfection and the bacon just the way I like it, crispy! Looking forward to eating there again. Our server was excellent. What more could you ask for? ❤️”

“Our experience at the hotel last night was great. We sat at the bar and got some food and drinks. Our bartender, Katie was excellent! She was kind, and was very good at her job. Some people just have it and she definitely had it! very professional at such a young age. Kudos to Katie!”

“I heard by word of mouth that the Vintage Tavern had the best Philly style cheesesteaks in the Poconos. If you enjoy a great cheesesteak do not make this place anything other than your next stop for one. I also sampled the fries and they were equally spectacular. I will be going back soon! As a bonus they have a late 50s to mid 60s vibe.”

“The staff here are so lovely, and the pierogies were fantastic! We tried the wild mushroom and the potato cheddar, and couldn't decide which we liked more since both had such wonderful flavor. They even gave some slices of kielbasa as a little treat to our whiny pup. We'd happily come back here and definitely recommend it if you're in the area!”

“My husband and I brought a ton of our friends here the morning after our wedding nearby and had a great breakfast! The food was exactly what we needed, so good, the staff was so friendly and accommodating of our bigger party, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. They put our leftover wedding cake in the fridge and brought it out for us after we finished our scrapple. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality!”

“10/10 experience across the board. This is the second time me and my husband have eaten at this restaurant and the chef knocks it out of the park every single time. We had the 7-spice half chicken, steak special, spinach salad special, and the grilled romaine salad. This time we brought our 11-month old son and they accommodated us and made us feel super comfortable. The staff was so kind and friendly and did a great job on checking in on us to make sure food was good and everyone was happy and well taken care of. I can’t wait to see what the chef has in store for us for our next visit. Second of MANY!!! Eating here is a MUST.”
