“It has been a long while since I have been so driven as to write a review for a Hawley restaurant. The place speaks for itself.... for a restaurant with very little parking , you will find it FULL with reservations required. We have eaten there several times on a Thursday night during the early bird special menu and I highly recommend it . On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 14. I was referred to the Ridge and have in turn referred many others. A smaller , very comfortable place with 100 year old victorian architecture and some of the best food and broad selection of entrees that I have experienced anywhere in a long time.”

“I am hoping there has been a mistake with my order. If not, it seems the cook may not be able to distinguish between pho and hu tieu. The pho lacks the characteristic flavors; there is no hoisin sauce, lemon, basil or mint leaves. Given the overwhelmingly positive reviews, we all decided to order pho. We sincerely hope the other dishes are not similar..”

“Got an ice cream cake for my grandsons birthday… and it was out of this world.!!! He requested a cookie dough ice cream cake with chopped up Reese’s cups and cookie crumbles mixed throughout and allover the top and Jamie did an incredible job.!!! It was a huge hit and everyone loved it..!! 😋🎂🍦”

“My husband and I went to Be Kind Bake House this morning and met the lovely owner, Casey. I had an orang cardamom roll, it was Devine. He had a yummy brownie. We each wound up getting something to take home, and Casey was so kind to let us try the garlic chocolate chip cookies, which were really delicious! Definitely recommend checking it out and grabbing some goodies, you won’t be disappointed!”

I also love her gluten free baked goods. As a celiac I truly appreciate when someone makes the effort to have a yummy treat available with my coffee. “Wow! I can’t say enough about how good breakfast just was! We started with fresh really hot coffee. My friend had the creamed chipped beef which he said was delicious. I had eggs which were cooked just right, yummy hot home fries and crispy bacon. The toast was even toasted to perfection and the bacon just the way I like it, crispy! Looking forward to eating there again. Our server was excellent. What more could you ask for? ❤️”

“As a small business, we understand the importance of supporting local. We travel all over NEPA and love trying local coffee shops and restaurants. I found Black and Brass when I was looking for a coffee shop that was open later in the day to work on my laptop. They are open till 6 which is perfect for us as we are usually out till late in the day walking dogs. The place is huge and GORGEOUS! There is a large amount of seating that is spread out so you have plenty of quiet and privacy while you work. The food and drinks are delicious, and I highly recommend the macarons! This will definitely be a regular spot for us! 10/10”
