Amazing food and atmosphere. Every time we get a chance to go there, we are impressed. We can’t wait to go again.
It has been a long while since I have been so driven as to write a review for a Hawley restaurant. The place speaks for itself.... for a restaurant with very little parking , you will find it FULL with reservations required. We have eaten there several times on a Thursday night during the early bird special menu and I highly recommend it . On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 14. The Ridge Restaurant offers delicious food with generous portions. The lamb special, surf and turf, and pistachio cake are standout dishes, while the Caesar dressing and chocolate peanut butter cake are also well-received. The service is consistently great, with attentive and friendly staff. Visitors have enjoyed the excellent food, great prices, and a lively atmosphere, especially on Fridays when the bartender and server sing. Reservations are recommended, especially if sitting in the bar area. Portions are large, often enough for two or three people, and the meals are generally well-prepared. The restaurant has very little parking, but it is often full with reservations required. Customers recommend the early bird special menu on Thursday nights. The Ridge Restaurant is a smaller, very comfortable place with 100-year-old Victorian architecture and a broad selection of entrees.
