“My husband and I went to Be Kind Bake House this morning and met the lovely owner, Casey. I had an orang cardamom roll, it was Devine. He had a yummy brownie. We each wound up getting something to take home, and Casey was so kind to let us try the garlic chocolate chip cookies, which were really delicious! Definitely recommend checking it out and grabbing some goodies, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Papa's ice cream is REALLY good. The ice cream is very smooth a creamy. Lots of toppings and creative sundaes. We spent $15 on a brownie sundae, small vanilla cone and a small Dirt sundae (pictured)”

“This is such a cute little place. Very quick for the food coming to the table. The absolute Best French toast I've ever had. I got the cheesecake strawberry stuffed French toast, my husband got the chocolate chip pancakes and the portions are huge. Pricing is amazing!!!!”

“As a small business, we understand the importance of supporting local. We travel all over NEPA and love trying local coffee shops and restaurants. I found Black and Brass when I was looking for a coffee shop that was open later in the day to work on my laptop. They are open till 6 which is perfect for us as we are usually out till late in the day walking dogs. The place is huge and GORGEOUS! There is a large amount of seating that is spread out so you have plenty of quiet and privacy while you work. The food and drinks are delicious, and I highly recommend the macarons! This will definitely be a regular spot for us! 10/10”

“Among other things we got the calamari for an appetizer. I got the biggest squid parts I’ve ever got before and it was amazing! My wife prefers the rings which they had with it which was good as well.”

Great environment, friendly staff, great drinks and an adorable outdoor seating area! A round raised patio with beautiful stone work that overlooks the pretty murals in Honesdale. Highly reccomend!”

“We are in town for a wedding and chose this place because they make a vegan pizza. It's not an after thought or something to placate the one vegan friend in the group. It's thoughtful and delicious and filling. There's no fake cheese, just all whole ingredients. My nonvegan husband really liked the carrot puree. Definitely will be back when we're in the area.”

“Tried this place because my son has a football game in Honesdale. Boy am I glad I did. This place was absolutely fantastic. My son, who is the pickiest eater in the world loved the smash burger. My 2 youngest had the cheese quesadilla's. My wife had the pulled pork grilled cheese, and I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. For appetizers we had the chicken pot stickers. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was super friendly and the 2 gentleman playing were a awesome. I'm in Pike county but I will definitely be back to this place for a date night.”

“I havented visited Wayne on the Hill since it was known as the fireside. Always seemed a bit out of the way for me. But last weekend my friends and I had a few drinks and a nice dinner there. Food was good. But the best part of the dining experience was the bartender and our waiter Jason. It was so refreshing to end up with a server that was personable, knowledgeable, and a wonderful personality. That seems hard to come by lately in this world. Hometown appeal, hometown food with a few surprises, but most important was the atmosphere Jason provided to table. Impeccable service ! Way better than the one woman that always tender bad there. It feels good to be treated like a patron and not annoyance, and that is exactly what Jason did . We will be back.”

“We really enjoy this place! Their crab rangoon is one of my favorites, and the orange chicken is always delicious. My husband religiously orders the sweet and sour chicken every single time, so that has definitely earned his stamp of approval.
The food is consistently very good, the wait time is usually pretty quick, and the location is convenient and easy to get in and out of. A solid go-to whenever we're in the mood for Chinese food.”

“Rustic, unassumingly charming place that sits off the beaten track, but close to Honesdale and Hawley. Lots of food options. Burger was delicious. Wife had chicken sandwich. Had an IPA from Jam Room in Greentown. Wish they had more craft on tap. We went here three years ago when scouting the area on vacation. Now we live in the region. Great service.”
