This restaurant has it all. The food is exceptional. They offer a variety of signature cocktails, wine and beer. The ambiance is quaint. Overall an excellent experience.
Always a wonderful dinner at Ravyn & Robyn. We love it! Great food, drinks & atmosphere. A favorite place for us!!
Small menu but what we had was very good. On a different note, this restaurant needs to light up the outside of their building since it looks closed. It's even a little too dark on the inside.
Everything was so delicious. The pasta is homemade. Just everything was so good. Definitely will be going back there.
A unique environment, Cozy, quiet ambiance. The service was good, the server attentive. The food was very good. A little pricy. Salads, sides are ala carte. We don't mind paying a bit more if the food is good.
Ordered the chicken piccata....it was awful...floury and overcooked. Cacio e pepe was ordered by the other party in my group....it was good, had the peppery flair but absolutely not enough cheese flavor...they claim its made in a "cheese wheel" but definitely could not taste the cheese. The server was not so welcoming and rushed us. Oh and the meatball appetizer was ok...they were standard Italian restaurant meatballs. I would try a different place next time in Hawley....we were very disappointed
We have been to R&R many times. We have always rated it 5 stars. This time was very disappointing. We were walked "outiside" to the new dining room. It's small with too many tables squeezed in there. You can't have a conversation with your dining mate because the tables on either side are on top of you. The addiiton of a small charcuterie board with bread was a pleasant surprise. From there it went downhill. With the new addition there is a second bar and only one bartender. We had the Italian salad and mussels special as appetizers. The mussels were very tiny and the salad was dressed in oil only. Dinners were not much better. Gnocchi was delicious but the sauce was very watery. It did not stick to the pasta. The seafood pasta was again tiny mussels and even tinier clams. Our waiter NEVER came back to our table to see if we wanted another cocktail or to see how how we were doing. We had planned on ordering dessert but by the time he came we decided it was time to leave. Unfortunately, this was an anniversary dinner and so disappointing.
Absolutely terrible food and even worse service. Waitress answered our question of “do you have a kids menu?” with “this isn't that type of restaurant”. Who is she pretending this place is?! The cold was cold to luke warm (eggplant, fried calamari, chicken piccata). Our waitress RARELY checked on us throughout the night.. drink orders, appetizers and dinner. She gave us an eye roll after 18% tip for a $200 bill...she's lucky she even got that ! That was our first and LAST time there! And it should be yours too! Disgusting attitude... bad food.... For what? Thought actual Italians ran this place.... GUESS NOT!
Was brought the wrong pasta dish. Had to argue with the waitress until she finally admitted the dish was mixed up with another patron. Remade the dish and it was supposed to be Cacio e Pepe . It tasted like pasta water with a hint of cheese. Not very crowded however shared a conversation with the couple that was seated directly next to us when there were at least 8 other empty tables for 2 available. Not our vibe, service marginal and food was the same. Would not recommend
It was the worst dining experience I've had in years. Wait staff completely ignored our empty drinks including water. 30 minutes to get appetizer. Then 75 more minutes to get tasteless entrees. We were told to hold over dirty silverware after appetizers which were disgusting after laying on the table that long. No explanation for how long we waited even though we were visibly upset Had to ask for oil or butter for the bread. Had to ask for plates for our appetizers. Just a mess.
Restaurantji Recommends
My family and I have a vacation home near Lake Wallenpaupack and we love eating at R&R it's become are favorite part of the area. Great food and Great people. Cant go wrong.
Tried Ravyn & Robyn for the first time this past week after several recommendations. Unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations. The prices in exchange for the food we received were NOT worth it. In no way was the food spectacular and none of the dishes were worth the cost. Service was good, our waitress was very kind, but it was clear they use some kind of system where everyone helps out. They were very eager to clear plates immediately after we were finished eating, which was fine but interfered with some of the ambiance. The inside was nice and the vault was cool. There were a few flies that were flying around and while I understand it’s hot out, they became a nuisance. By no means was the food horrible, but the cost of the food, especially for an establishment that claims its fine dining, is not worth it. Everything was just okay.

Went tonight for dinner for the first time here with my mom and sister and let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible! The food was so fresh and delicious! Wine was great, the staff was friendly. The owner went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed without being overbearing. The hospitality was top notch! Truly an amazing evening out and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!!

First I was born and raised in NYC and I am 2nd generation Italian.
I worked in food industry as a Director of Food and Beverage.
I find the food excellent at Robin and Raven.
It’s very simple Italian food like what a grew up with as child.
The way Nonna, Nonno and my mom made it.
They don’t try to reinvent the wheel in this restaurant.
This is the way Italian food is supposed to be.
I have just one thing I would like to see improve.
I wish they would raise the bar on the wine selection.
Wine is part of it all.
But I will continue to go back and enjoy their cuisine.
