I think this place is awesome as far as dock an dine their prices are in check and the food is excellent. Much better than the rest of the restaurants on the lake

Dining at The Boat House was a great experience. The ambiance was inviting, setting the stage for a memorable meal. Highlights included the flawlessly crispy catfish, golden calamari, and an exceptional eggplant tower that impressed us all. While the penne with vodka pasta and chicken waffle were decent, they didn’t quite match up to the other offerings. The pork chops were another highlight, perfectly juicy and delicious. Our meal was further enhanced by an inventive cocktail menu that didn’t disappoint. The strawberry cheesecake for dessert was simply divine, ending our meal on a high note.A special mention must go to our server, whose kindness and attentiveness made our dining experience even more special. The Boat House is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious food and impeccable service.

Interesting smell. Too cold for jorts. Honestly the food is okay but just seems low quality. MY MAN DID NOT LIKE THE PENNE VODKA. lack of seasoning too but decent.

Our last dinner on our "girls getaway" and besides having the most delicious dinner and spicy bloody Marys, our waitress Laura was awesome! We just might go back for breakfast on our way home in the morning.Parking: In the summer they have docks on the lake

As far as boat houses in the middle of the mountains go, this was good. The burgers are the only thing I can speak on... which were fantastic.

Had lunch here today, ordered Diet Pepsi that tasted like it had ginger ale in it. Poutine disco fries with chili were super sweet and the buttermilk chicken sandwich was burnt. It was in a very nice brioche roll and the pickle slaw was ok but the chicken was burnt. Terrible. Will not recommend

Was hoping the new management would bring this place back to what it was before the paupack hills takeover. Unfortunately, still slow, inattentive service and terrible food that takes forever to come out. For the price, portion size was ridiculously small on the pretzels and calamari. French onion soup somehow had a bread pudding consistency and was inedible. Probably 9 tables in the dining area last night and a waitstaff of 3 was overwhelmed as saw 4 tables complain about wait time, send food back, etc. They used to have such a great staff and solid food but just very poor experience all around, even with the new management. Unfortunate.

They made our party wait 1 hour and 25 mins for cold undercooked food and the hospitality was terrible. 0/5 stars.
