Horrible food & the worst service. Ambiance is fine but we will never set foot in this place again. Adding insult to injury, they upcharge for ice when you order a drink on the rocks!?! Unbelievable.

We went on Thanksgiving with a party of 11. Great food, however our drinks arrived after we started eating, some were wrong and no one ever came back to remove used plates or offer coffee. We waited 30 min for our check and had to ASK for coffee. No whip cream or ice cream on desert table, only pie was offered , I had to ask for ice cream for our small kids..Terrible service despite the great food.

We just got home. Spent Thanksgiving and our Anniversary at The Dock. We had a great time. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend for your holiday.

So I'll explain my rating. The food I rated a four only because the desserts were only pies. Pumpkin, Apple and Pecan I believe. I'm not a pie person and would of loved something other than pie. But the main course was absolutely delicious and tasted just like home!! The service could use more wait staff. Our particular server was non existent and we needed to ask others walking by just for a refresher on our drinks. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect! I really enjoyed my thanksgiving at the Dock on Wallenpaupak with the exception of a few minor things.

First course— soup. Cold. Sent back. Heated in microwave: lukewarm. Second course — seafood pasta. Cold. Sent pasta back (should have sent the whole thing back). Gave us pasta back heated but by then seafood was cold. All in all unacceptable. The restaurant was empty as it is off season — so no excuse.

Relaxed environment on the water. The “outdoor deck” is screened in, so I opt for inside seating by the large window.
Parking can be confusing, but it is across from the restaurant but plenty of space.
Got a clam strips and chips with a local beer came out to about $40. But you pay for location and atmosphere. Great date spot.

Very good fish tacos not spicy at all and the fish is very fresh. A bunch of different choices and dog friendly. Left feeling great and serving sizes are perfect.

The place was half-empty, but the staff said to wait 5-10 minutes for an hour. We never waited, wasting our time in vain. The view is beautiful, but the staff and service 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
