We surprised them last minute with an unannounced, unplanned funeral luncheon. They accepted us without question after other plans fell through, with just one chef to make all the food! They were cheery and helpful the whole time. Many thanks for the hospitality!Vegetarian options: They had a few offerings on the menu for vegetarians. The black bean burger could be substituted for meat. The eggplant was well fried and not mushy. They had a pizza option. Food was delicious!

My husand and I went for an Easter Brunch Buffet (Mar. '24). It was $44 pp, however, they added a 20% tip WITHOUT initially disclosing. If I am getting up, getting my own dish/flatware and serving myself, I don't understand why a 20% tip is warranted. We had to flag someone down for coffee, water and even our bill. When we arrived, it was around 2PM; there were at least 3 empty platters at the smallish buffet station. The place was I'd say at about a 30-40% capacity, so food should be plentiful. Additionally, twice they ran out of plates; so you had the choice to wait for them to replenish or reuse your plate (I opted for latter.) At one point I did get a "clean" plate only to find there was some egg stuck on it (at least I think it was egg, as it was yellow.) In addition to the buffet there was a ham carving station (serving salty ham) and an egg omelet station. The young guy making the omelets could use training. He would add too much oil to the pan, then a ladle full of eggs. Instead of allowing the eggs to sit and cook for a bit, he would continually stir the oil and eggs together as he cooked them. Needless to say, I did not have an omelet. From the foods they had at the buffet, my favorite thing was the plain yogurt and side of granola. They also had french toast casserole, eggs benedict, green salad, fruit salad, a chicken dish, pasta, green beans, bacon, mini quiche, mini bagels with lox. The food was actually tasty, and that is why I gave them 3 stars instead of 1.

Food and drinks are great. Had the fried chicken sandwich and drunken chicken pizza. Everything was great.

If you are going to charge 24 dollars for a medium size bowl of pasta then you should at least offer a salad or bread. Not worth the trip.

This is the second time the lobster bisque was not hot. It had obviously been sitting in the pass for a bit because the top was skinned over. Caesar salad was good. Our soup, salad and pizza arrived together, we would have preferred the soup and salad first because the pizza wasn't hot by the time I finished my salad. We've had pizza here in the past, this one was sub-par. We ordered sausage and it was such tiny pieces of sausage that I couldn't tell what it was. It tasted like a frozen pizza, reheated. The atmosphere is very bright and open, I preferred when there were booths in the dining room. And, being the off season, I would expect that additional cleaning would be done, the light fixtures are full of dead bugs, as has been the case since last summer.

Was seated and waited 25 minutes with no one stopping at her table, but walking past us and serving every other table that was seated around us made us feel completely unwelcome. Ended up walking

Steak lacked flavor even with salt on it. Ramen with shrimp was delicious. Restaurant could definitely be cleaner and updated but good for a quick dinner.

The service was good, but the food was okay. We had onion and lobster bisque soups that tasted like they came out of a can. The main plates were crab cakes for my partner and I had a NY Strip. The crab cakes were not hot enough and while my steak was cooked properly, it had no flavor so I was bored and didn't finish it. Drinks were delightful. I could go back just for drinks during the day and see the views of the lake.

Went for an early New Years Eve dinner. Our waitress Susan was so nice and friendly. Helped with questions about the menu and even asked us if we wanted to change tables since the couple behind us were arguing loudly. Had the fried calamari which was light and came with 2 tasty dipping sauces. Entree was fish fry which was also light and delicious. Came with fries and coleslaw which tasted Homemade. The only reason not to give 5 stars was that the cook had the appetizer come out at same time as entree. I like eating one before the other
