Everything was great to bad they are closing for good
Will never eat at Bonanza in hazleton, food was cold, nothing really fresh, lettuce was brown. Only thing good was the instant mashed potatoes which doesn’t say much. Barely touched anything and when we spoke with the manager he just laughed it off saying there is nothing he can do. Basically we paid for 1 person to eat fake potatoes. It’s not the fact that they didn’t comp any of the food but it was how it was handled.
The food was good. The staff was cordial. All was well.
I LOVE BONANZA! Then again, I also loved Ponderosa! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent value for your money!! I've been eating at this Bonanza for years! As long as this Bonanza is here, I WILL BE HERE, and loving every minute of it!! Thank you.
Food was great!Floor was so sticky in the entire building that I literally walked out of my flip flop cause it didnt move when I did. Service was average amd the hostess was a bit uninteresting with the folk coming in or paying. Young shorter girl. Not bad though, love this place and miss seeing them more often.
Some restaurants didn’t survive the first lockdown here in Pennsylvania. This one is hanging on by a few good staff members. The staff is very friendly... But, 7pm on a Monday evening and everything is dried out and nothing is labeled. I had no idea what the food was. The chicken was good and the meat balls. We ordered steak, and it took 25 minutes to come out from the kitchen. Now on to the rest of the place. The floor was sticky and the restaurant looks outdated and torn furniture. The ceilings look dirty. I’m not sure how good this place was before Covid so I’m giving two stars for friendliness and the benefit of the doubt but I’m probably not coming back.
We went for the 1st time (as it isn't a local place for us) and we did the buffet for ourself and our kids. They had plenty to choose from both for food and dessert. The food was great. The employees were very professional and kind and the bathrooms were clean (which is important to us) they had options to use gloves for handling food which was nice for those who it brings comfort. They were very tentative and the prices were very fair. Great experience!

We took a church youth group here and had a great dinner, and an enjoyable time. Having a buffet made it easy to please everyone, and we didn't have to wait for individual orders.
The steak was good seasoned seared and juicy. The buffet is always good and fast service. Not too pricey, a 5 star experience.
Great lunch buffet: variety of salads, hot foods and desserts. You can't go wrong for the price, $10 or under depending on the day. Waitress is always great. The place is clean.
This food is terrible and the mashed potatoes taste like water, best thing here was the faucet water and the lemon.
Staff was friendly. We had the lunch buffet. The food was ok, but not as good as I remember it being the last time I had Bonanza. We'll definitely go back though
