I grew up in the Hazleton area and love this place. I am still some what local and do corporate events and meetings. I sponsor FIrst Responder and buy lunches for half the state. When offering to buy lunch for places as far as Altoona they ask if I’m willing to bring a few boxes of pizzas and some cookies. The staff is great and never complain when I call and order 20-30 boxes of pizzas to take to local first responders as a thank you.
The best pizza reminds me of when I was growing up. This is not the average pizza. A must try. Heard their apple pie has 5 to 6 lbs of apples in it. The napoleon was amazing as well.
The staff was very attentive and friendly. The sandwiches were so flavorful and the cookies we purchased are some of the best we have ever had. We live in Virginia but any time we come through this area we will stop at Carmens.
