I’ve tried this restaurant three times. I really wanted it to have improved. Service not good, food not good. Can’t imagine how it ever got better ratings.

This place has a nice view of the valley. It is on top of the mountain, the food was pretty good a little overpriced for what you get in my opinion, but would recommend trying .

My husband and I have been going here for probably 30 years and since there new location opened it has gone downhill. Tonight we came hoping for a quiet relaxing great food dinner and what happened was the complete opposite. 1/2!of their menu was not available common things like NY Strip, spinach, shrimp, lasagna manicotti and several other items they were out of. We sat at our table for 36 mins without a drink and they so lacked professionalism. Very disappointed for this price range dining. Will not return

Visited your restaurant today. We have been meaning to try it for a few years. Honestly, we were very disappointed. 6-7 items on the menu were not available at 6pm? Waitress was very nice and understanding but I don’t thing we will be back. The food we were able to choose was very good, however we had to change our decision as so much was not available. As locals, it felt like a very expensive place but at $15 for one peach martini, a little to rich for my taste. The main point is the lack of availability just didn’t measure up

First time at damenti’s very disapointed with the food Very pricey for what we had 40$ for linguine with clams won’t be back

What an absolutely beautiful dining room and ambiance! Such a shame that the same can't be said about the dining experience. This was our first experience at the new Damenti's location. We adored the old restaurant and the food. My wife loved her chicken entrée. Having loved the steak at the old location, I decided to get a NY strip, even though the price was 50.00. Here's where it went sour: we ordered cocktails, but they didn't arrive until our salads came out. We both ordered the Damenti's house salad which we remembered from many years ago. It was delicious, and just as it was. A light, wonderful dressing with bleau cheese crumbles. Our cocktails finally arrived followed literally a couple of minutes by our entrees. If I had any brains, I would have sent them back until we finished enjoying our salads. But, there we sat hurrying to eat our salads before our entrees got cold. When I got to my steak, it was okay, but absolutely not worth 50 dollars! The French fries were typical fast food type fries with some kind of breading. My wife likes to order a glass of wine with her dinner, and once again, she was more than halfway through her meal before it arrived. This review makes me sad to write, because I recall the excellence Damenti's always provided. If not for ordering cocktails I would wager that our expensive, much looked-forward-to dinner would have ended in a half an hour. Sadly, at these prices, and the pace of the food service it is unlikely that we will return. Please, if you are the manager/owner, please heed us. We were very disappointed and even a bit angry at the waste of our very hard earned money.

Dinner reservations at damenti's last night. Waited for one half hour for drinks and they came out one at a time.
Appetizers over a hour came out and sat one a table across from our for 20 minutes before being served. Needless to they were not very warm.
Waited for another hour for the main course to come out but never did, because after the couple, who were seat 50 minutes after our got ther main course it time for us to leave.
Damenti's is now off our list for bad service and customer respect for which there wasn't any.
Reservations were for 6pm and walkout at 8pm. No main course in sight.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. The “ice bar” is $10 for admission to see some lame ice sculptures They are severely understaffed and we waited an hour for very simple drinks. Several in our party of 12 waited for 2 hours. There was a hostess who acted like the owner but really had no real authority. Drinks and food were not good at all. We will never be back. For fine dining prices I expect good service and food.

We had a little after wedding dinner celebration last week with a larger dinner party of 9 people. We had 2 amazing waitresses that I’m truly sorry I did not get their names, but they went above and beyond for our party. They even set up a separate table for my wedding cake and had to-go containers for our party to take cake with them. The food was amazing and the atmosphere clean and so nicely decorated.

Keep in mind. Damenti's vision is high end dinning. So that means the food should not be pre made or frozen ever. As a local i have been here before. The food use to be just that fresh and High quality cuts of meat. Let me start with half of the menu was unavailable. I had rack of lamb. The fat wasn't trimmed season lacked flavor the meat tasted old the cook temp was almost correct. Garlic mashed potatoes didn't taste like garlic just butter. Calamari wasn't cleaned before breeding stringy bits trough out this also was un seasoned. The (shrimp scampi style?) Either its scampi or not. Boxed pasta Was over cooked. The frozen shrimp was cooked till it was like rubber. Soda was watered-down. Staff is untrained unable to describe menu items and confused as to what was in stock. Not sure what happened here but save your money find something else. The food doesn't reflect high quality by any means. $140 for 2 people. For a meal that should have cost $40 don't make the same mistakes i have.

Not a great experience at this restaurant, right from the hostess to the food. 40$ for a small piece of salmon that wasn't cooked well and presented on a plate without any seasoning, garnishing or sides. Way Overpriced for what this place offered in terms of food, ambience and service.
