We got the original tavern pizza and the “Connie”. Both were perfectly done as always! Pizza is always good here and it’s nice to see owners with such passion and joy, even in its 4th generation. Thank you!

Pretty good pizza, but the meatball parm sandwich was a big disappointment. Not enough meat, the sauce was too sweet, and the bread was meh.

Any time I am in Hazleton, I make sure to stop by this historic gem. Old school at its finest! A simple round pie is my favorite. Some of my favorite pizza of all time.

SPECTACULAR!! I’m new to town and wanted to try a local spot, this place did NOT disappoint. The food was delicious and makes any other pizza spot I’ve had weak at the knees. Truly amazing!!

Had amazing dinner or four antipasto at large pizza in a picture of your for quite a reasonable price these days. The owner left us to loves the best bread ever to take home with us. Can't wait to go back!

I saw this restaurant on social media. The guy said it was the best pizza, even people from NY said so. So wrong! The first red flag was the man answering the phone. I ordered a Sicilian pizza, a pepperoni pizza and fries. He laughed and told me to go to McDonalds if I wanted fries. So rude. The pizza (round as they called it) was definitely a frozen pizza that they threw some pepperoni on. Horrible. The Sicilian (square as they called it) was way undercooked and had no seasonings.
Second red flag, when I walked in the 2 ladies behind the bar didn’t even look at me. Finally I asked if this is where I pick up orders. Her response, “name” with a ton of attitude.
Red flag three, the place is old, dingy, dark and smells like 50 year old smoke.
0/10!

Hi, I grew up eating Senapes pitza. I'm 55. My grandparents on my father's side were born in hazleton. most of my family is from here. Senapes was a must everytime we came to town. 5 or 6 boxes. most didn't make it home to Jersey

This is a local pizza joint that folks have loved for years. The night I went, things were off. The pizza was not completely cooked and not good although the antipasto was fine. The service was fun, and everybody knew everyone, and the din from talking was huge. If you're visiting and want a taste of the local scene, then you definitely need to go. If you want really good pizza and a quiet evening, this is not your place.

I have been getting pizza from Senape’s since I was a kid, pretty sure they were the very first pizza place I ever tried. My family and I have stayed loyal customers of their for years. I bring their pizza with me out to Pittsburgh and up to Scranton to visit friends and family, they all tell me how amazing the food is. If you are looking for a place that not only has unique and distinctive flavor to their pizza but also has the great toppings to match, Senape’s is the place to be.
