I’ve been going here at least twice a month and the owner has never even said hello to me. I was there on my birthday and a friend left a small cake on my car so not to disturb my meal with a friend. I brought it in unopened and didn’t even attempt to eat it. The owner had a problem with it and expressed his contempt for me bringing in an outside cake, that I was obviously taking home. Tiny cake, served two or one if you’re hungry for cake. Spend about 100 bucks every time I’m there and the only interaction I got with the owner was negative. Not a friendly environment other than the bald gentleman who works the bar. I can’t remember his name, Brian or Steve. If it wasn’t for him I would never come back and after the last experience I probably won’t. Say Hi to your repeat patrons, pretty simple, but it makes a world of difference.

Good food great view!!!
Older Restaurant and a little pricey, but the food will have you coming back
We hadn't been here for a while and decided last minute to drop in. This was an excellent decision. I forgot how good the food was. The service was excellent. We will be back soon. The views of the valley are worth it alone.
Incredible views; this is a must visit date night on a clear evening. The food was great, the potato pancakes were definitely worth the hype! Very heavy, perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy! Will definitely be returning for more of the potato pancakes! I had the chicken piccata for my entree and also tried the calamari!
Good food. Good portions. Wait staff was great, attentive.
The food was decent. Not the best I’ve had, but good. The building is dilapidated and in need of an upgrade. The carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the grand opening and surroundings could use some love. Wanda was our server and she was great. It took approximately 45 minutes for our food to arrive. It wasn’t busy. The food was hot. Top of the 80’s says it’s “fine dining” but it’s not. They try to be but are far off. Overall, it was worth a try. The views are about the only thing this place has going for it. The food is standard and WAY overpriced.
Awesome view, great view, love it
We enjoyed a beautiful view of the sunset, followed by the waking of the town below. Fantastic live music, excellent service, and a variety of food choices allowed us to enjoy our time together as a family.
Great view.
Amanda our server is so awesome and caring!

Stopped here for dinner. I had chicken francaise It was made with egg batter and lemon butter. It was very good. First time having that before. Got 2 sides and I didn't finish all of it. Got the rest to go
Promptly greeted and sat. Yes this place is dated but that was part of the charm and the music matched which was strange in a good way. We quickly received water and bread before, Jody our server arrived to take our drink order.
I like to engage servers to learn what they enjoy about the menu. I took Jody’s suggestion for my drink, one that haven’t had for years, a Long Island iced tea. My partner had 2 Tito’s and vodka.
Jody recommended several items. We split the beet salad, delicious! Calamari was good. Chicken and crab piccata was very, very good, my partner only likes my piccata so this surprised me. I had an old time favorite that I haven’t had in years, calf’s liver with bacon, onions and mushroom gravy. For our sides we each had mashed potatoes and the most delicious coleslaw.
Everything we ate was very, very good and the portions are ridiculously large. Way too large, something they need to correct especially with the price of food. We could not eat it all and could not take it with us because we were only passing through.
Some people say the prices are high here but we spent $107 and left $20 tip.
We will eat here again if we are in the area. However I am worried they will go broke if they don’t reduce their portion size.
Great place to dine
Wonderful long-standing dining institution in Hazleton. Gluten-free accommodations, wonderful and attentive staff and excellent music.
I attended a catered event there. The food was good and the staff was attentive. It is back off the road a bit and I missed the turn. The views are extraordinary! Get a table neat the windows.
