Bought cake for Easter family event. Explicitly told owner of severe egg allergy. Cake was to be made without eggs. Cake was picked up and verified again with owner there was no egg in the cake or icing. Owner confirmed no eggs.Family member took two small bites and went into an anaphylaxis reaction. Epi pen used and visit to ER.This was the second time we bought an “egg free” cake from this bakery and both times the family member had a reaction.Shame on us the first time shame on them the second. There will not be a third as we will not purchase from here again!

Me and my sister had stopped here after going to the thrift store in hellertown and have never been here before but decided to try it because we love bakeries, we got six individual items two cupcakes, two muffins, and two lobster tail croissants. I didn't notice until we got home and check my bank that we were charged $37. So we were overcharged somehow because those six items did not cost $37. The food we tried was terrible and I'm not even a picky eater.

We couldn't even eat the food because it was hard and stale. Then I left a review on Google review and the owner responded very unprofessional . Crappy baked goods , ripped off over charged for the food( very sneaky) , STAY AWAY! Save your money seriously.... This is an honest review from someone who isn't even a picky eater.

We ordered a cake. Who writes happy birthday in black color? I hate it! I should not pay for the cake when the owner shows me the cake. I felt I had to pay since the cake is already made. However, I hate the black words. And I hate the cake is full of metal sparkling. This shouldn’t be used to decorate a cake. I don’t want anyone get sick by eating it. Looking at it made me feel uncomfortable and unhappy. I threw the whole cake away. $35 is wasted!

Stopped in craving something sweet and because we were so hungry we chose a wide variety of items including cupcakes, muffins and scones. Not a single item was edible, everything tasted stale with no flavor. I’m not a picky eater and could not take more than one bite of anything, additionally the items were way overpriced. We left feeling as though we wasted money

This is the ultimate bakery...a true little gem! The carrot cake cupcakes are absolutely to die for! Everything we bought we loved, her buttercream is so heavenly, And she is so friendly... make the effort to go!!
We received some pies from an investment advisor for the thanksgiving holiday that were baked by Hellertown Bakery. One was a pumpkin pie and the other was a apple crumb pie. Both pies were very good and made with fresh ingredients. We reheated them up and they were delicious. Thank

Leiane does a good job with her bakery. She makes quality products. Her bakery is my favorite bakery. Her bagel/egg sandwiches are good too. I would rather give her small shop my business than the grocery stores and their "baked from a can" "bakeries" and overly sweet cakes.
